近年來，在美術館的教育推廣計畫裡經常可見「協作」（collaboration）、「共創」（co-creation）、「參與」（participation）等概念的引入，教育人員將教育的目的從傳遞作品意義，外延至關注觀眾與作品之間交流產生的火花，或是將話語詮釋權直接交付觀眾，新型態的教育推廣方法與模式也為美術館教育現場勾勒出嶄新的面貌。然而如何避免單次性、流於表面的互動，也成為藝術教育現場工作者的挑戰。當協作、參與作為方法，其對於藝術教育現場的意義為何，又如何重塑美術館的知識生產路徑，回應多元社群的需求，更為積極地進入社會現實的脈動。
新北市美術館（簡稱新美館）於籌備時期便積極走出館外，2019年起規劃「藝術教案開發暨推廣計畫」及「ARTGOGO藝術巴士」，前者串聯藝術及教育社群，協同藝術家及教師開發以藝術為核心的STEAM課程，強調跨域協作、多元社群參與及共創等理念；後者以行動美術館概念，積極走入市民生活場域，鏈結藝術與生活的可能。以實現全齡美感教育為目標的新美館，如何界定觀眾的輪廓，理解其需求，發展多元的學習體驗，從而定錨自身之於新北市、乃至全台藝文的獨特定位，亦是其重要議題。
2023新美館論壇將回顧並反思藝文館舍教育理念的發展趨勢與新方法，邀請不同領域教育現場的實踐者，分享各自的實務經歷，一探協作與共創在藝文館舍教育現場的可能模式，藉以反思如何開展永續的對話空間及共同學習模式。

Concepts based on the notions of “collaboration,” “co-creation,” and “participation” have in recent years become ubiquitous in educational promotion programs organized by art museums. Educational specialists are now extending the purpose of education from conveying the meaning of a particular artwork to focusing on the sparks generated by the exchange between the audience and the work, or directly entrusting audience members with the right to freely interpret. New types of educational promotion methods and formats have also prompted new features to be seen in the educational activities organized by art museums. However, how to prevent the interactions from being short-lived and superficial has also become a challenge for those directly involved in these art educational programs. When collaboration and participation are treated as methods, what then is their significance for on-site art education, and how can we reshape the path of knowledge production in art museums to respond to the needs of diverse communities and to be more active in keeping up with social reality?
The New Taipei City Art Museum (NTCAM) has been assertively seeking to branch outside of the museum’s walls since its planning period. Initiated in 2019, the museum’s “Art Lesson Planning Project” links together art and education communities and assists artists and teachers in developing art-oriented lesson plans, with emphasis placed on cross-disciplinary collaboration, diverse community participation, and co-creation. Also initiated in the same year, the “ARTGOGO Art Bus” is essentially a mobile art museum that actively enters into everyday places to facilitate connections between art and people’s daily lives. NTCAM aims to offer aesthetic education for all age groups; therefore, the museum recognizes the pressing importance of identifying its audience groups, understanding their needs, and developing diversified learning experiences so as to anchor the museum’s unique arts and cultural position in New Taipei City and gradually extend to Taiwan as a whole.
In this forum, we will review and reflect on the developmental trends and new approaches observed with arts and cultural institutions’ philosophy on education. Education practitioners from different fields are invited to share their practical experiences and explore possible models of collaboration and co-creation with art museums’ educational endeavors, in order to reflect on how to develop sustainable spaces for dialogue and models of learning together.
