This event invites renowned international art directors, illustration agents, and industry experts as judges. They have extensive experience in prestigious competitions such as the New York Society of Illustrators, Los Angeles Society of Illustrators, SPD (Society of Publication Designers) Awards, Communication Arts, American Illustration, and Applied Arts.
The Top 50 illustrators will be selected by these esteemed professionals, offering a global perspective to showcase the beauty and creative potential of illustration to the world.
Bridging the Gap with the Industry
Following the competition, an award ceremony will be held, featuring digital projections, screen displays, and printed exhibits to enhance interaction between attendees and illustrators. Industry professionals seeking talented illustrators will be invited to engage in face-to-face networking in a relaxed atmosphere, helping brands find the perfect illustration partners.

IlloBoom! 2024 Illustration Summit Challenge Top50 Winners
▌Eligibility
Open to individuals aged 18 and above, with original illustration works first published (including online) between Feb 1, 2024, and Apr 5, 2025. Works previously submitted to other international competitions are welcome. No restrictions on theme, size, or medium, but works should align with the artist’s creative vision. Each entry will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on its category.

- Commissioned – Works created for editorial, advertising, book publishing, picture books, licensing, branding, etc.
- Uncommissioned – Personal works, self-published prints, and experimental art that were not commissioned or commercially used.

- Submitted entries must not involve plagiarism, copyright infringement, or impersonation. Any confirmed violations of the aforementioned regulations will result in disqualification without replacement. In addition to revoking awards and honors, the creator will bear full legal responsibility. This competition strictly prohibits the use of generative AI tools (e.g., MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, DALL·E, etc.) to create entries. All participants must provide documentation and evidence of their creative process to prove the originality of their work and ensure they hold the copyright to the submitted piece. If an entry is suspected of using AI at any stage of the competition, it will be immediately disqualified without further explanation. Participants who violate these rules will bear the consequences and may face legal claims if their actions damage the competition's reputation.
International judges can identify AI-generated works, and the organizers also utilize AI detection tools. If any selected work is flagged by these tools as AI-generated, the creator will be required to provide compelling evidence in their defense.
- The organizers reserve the right to reject any entries that discriminate against or infringe upon the culture or morals of different countries, as well as entries that fail to meet eligibility criteria. Participants must ensure their entries are original works. In the event of intellectual property or copyright disputes, the organizers reserve the right to disqualify the participant, who will bear full responsibility for any consequences. Participants must guarantee that the organizers will not face copyright or intellectual property disputes arising from the use of their submissions.
- The organizers retain the rights to exhibit and promote submitted works online.
- For matters not covered in this document, the organizers reserve the right to amend the terms and retain the authority to modify, change, or cancel the competition. Important announcements during the event period will be posted on the official website. For inquiries, please contact the organizers.
- By completing the registration and submission process, participants are deemed to have agreed to the above terms and to abide by all competition rules and regulations. No additional agreements or conditions will be signed by the organizers.
*Please note the following members are the international judging panel for this competition (click on the judges' photos or visit the official event website to learn more about their credentials). The "Event Guests" label below is a default name on Accupass and cannot be modified—it does not imply that all listed members will attend the "Boom! Celebration" event. On the event day, renowned industry professionals in Taiwan will be invited to interact with everyone!
