本次活動將以座談形式，由四位參展藝術家親自帶領觀眾探討「鏡子裡的你我是誰？」―2023第一季駐村藝術家聯展中所觸及的各種議題，包括集體回憶、視覺體驗、身份認同及語言之外的溝通。
透過一小時的交流座談，先一同走進藝術家過去作品中以窺見其創作脈絡，繼而試圖從藝術家的視角出發，在變化不斷的時代中去直視鏡像反射，在「我是誰？」這個議題上找尋更清楚的輪廓，期待能夠開啟一段藝術、自我、環境與他者之間的對話。
主持人及與談藝術家介紹
◢ 施雅恬（獨立策展人）
施雅恬是一個藝文書寫者、編輯與策展人，目前居住在臺北。
◢ Kasper Forest
生於香港，以本土文化和都市人的身份認同為創作基礎，回應對未來的困惑與不安。其十年攝影計劃 〈Conflict Hong Kong〉記錄了城市裡被忽略的少數群體；LGBTQ＋相關的〈Immediate Sexuality〉則拍攝來自世界各地的酷兒一族與變裝文化。另外〈金童玉女 The Ghost City〉，以殯葬儀式所使用的一對紙紮男女，穿梭於昔日香港的舊地標，死寂的氛圍下，隱藏了2019至2020年港人的沉重記憶。
◢ Sayang
Sayang是一位馬來西亞裔英國DJ、製作人與聲音藝術家，運用聲音與空間在個人與社群的脈絡之下探索和連結性別、種族、殘疾、酷兒與權利議題的交會地帶。主要為舞廳、深度思考和休憩活動製作音樂。在聲音設計方面，Sayang經常通過採集田野錄音、使用模組合成器與電子模擬器模仿熟悉的噪音來表現他的島嶼文化根源，並結合他在英國孩提時期的記憶來創作電子音樂，類型從電影配樂至迷幻音樂和EBM。模組合成器的現場演出，環繞式的聲響浴場，聲音的探索以及聲音藝術皆被作為連結的形式、語言及線性文獻的替代品。總觀來說，Sayang希望突破人們的舒適／不適圈，連接新空間，擴大社群，為舞廳內外散播歡樂。
◢ 尹斗鉉
尹斗鉉（出生於1986年）於2012年獲首爾市立大學環境雕塑學士學位，並於2016年自馬里蘭藝術學院的跨領域藝術研究所畢業。尹斗鉉對於將假說、幻想和現實之間界線模糊的過程的衍生物感興趣，他試圖改變物體的形式和屬性，並隨意地在不同狀態之間變動。此外，尹斗鉉致力於將老舊的既有標準和那些已被給予數值或固定值的物品，回歸到語言出現之前的狀態，他主要以攝影、裝置和雕塑為媒材，以開朗活潑而非嚴肅的態度創作幽默和淘氣的作品。
◢ 開發好明
開發好明的藝術創作重視觀眾參與。開發曾參與2002年紐約現代藝術博物館PS1分館「海之日／在海邊」展覽、2004年第九屆威尼斯建築雙年展日本館、2006年「越後妻有大地藝術季」、2021 橫濱藝術銀行的「食物與當代藝術－第八冊」聯展、2022年東京ANOMALY藝廊的「開發的再發現－第二冊、第三冊」個展，以及於德國柏林新國家美術館的「柏林－東京／東京－柏林」。

關於「鏡子裡的你我是誰？」―2023第一季駐村藝術家聯展
展覽時間：2023/02/24 (Fri.) - 2023/03/12(Sun.) 11:00 -18:00
身處於變化不斷的時代，我們自身的身份和定位也變得搖擺不定，「我是誰？」成為一大重要議題。我們透過與他者對話，從他者眼中找尋出自己的樣貌，進而重新與自身對話，辯證出屬於自己的身份認同和定位。
嬰兒在建立自我的過程中，會傾向透過鏡像認識到自己的存在，並在成長過程中不斷的人際互動中，從他者給予的回饋中擷取並形塑出更明確的自我形象。
在一切都快速更迭的現代，我們的自我認同和身份甚至可能回歸到嬰兒的自我形塑時期，需要再次透過無數次與他者互動和對話、消化、自我對話、重新認識自己，才得以發展出新的定位和身份，因此如何透過適合的方式去與他者互動及對話，更是過程中不可忽視的一部分。
開發好明透過訪問與日治時期遺留建築相關的臺灣人，從而進一步了解臺日關係和歷史定位，尹斗鉉試圖透過在同一平面上堆疊印刷影像，探索產出新圖像和視覺體驗的可能性，同時也觀察作品與環境之間的互動，Kasper Forest 以虛構敘事思考身份探索的過程，同時對臺灣人和香港人的身份提出疑問，Sayang 使用聲音裝置採集觀眾互動所發出的聲響，尋找語言之外的溝通方式，同時思考聲響與空間的關係。
此次藝術家們運用作品與環境、他人、自我意識等不同的他者進行對話，本展將邀請觀眾一同探索與他者之間的關係，期待能開啟一段藝術、自我、環境與他者之間的對話，找到自己。

About “Who am I that you see?”— 2023 Season 1 Residency Group Exhibition
Living in a changeful era in which our identity and position have also become obscure. "Who am I?" has become one of the most important issues to us. To find out our self-identity and position, we need to initiate conversations and interactions with others and find our image from others’ feedback.
During the ego formation period of an infant, they tend to recognize their existence through mirror reflection and construct a more solid self-image through constant interactions with others while growing up. In this fast-paced era, our self-identity and recognition might even retreat back to the infant period, hence endless interactions and conversations, digestion, self-conversation, and self-recognition are all needed in order to develop a new identity and position. Therefore, how to interact with others with a suitable method is a crucial part that cannot be overlooked in the process.
Yoshiaki Kaihatsu explores the connection and historical position of Taiwan and Japan by interviewing Taiwanese people who are related to the buildings left by the Japanese colonization era. Yoon Doohyun explores the possibility of producing new images and new visual experiences by overlapping print images on one surface and observing the relationship between artworks and the environment. Kasper Forest initiates an imaginary narrative to showcase the identity-searching process and questions about Taiwanese and Hong Kong people's identities. Sayang collects sounds of the audience's interaction with the space and searches for new methods of communication, meanwhile exploring the relationship between sound and space.
In the exhibition, artists utilize their works to communicate with the environment, self-ego, and different others. We invite the audience to explore their relationship with others and hope to start a new conversation between art, self-ego, environment, and others, and find out who we are.
