作曲家馬丁．馬塔隆（Martin Matalon）創作與指揮的《卓別林：工廠》（Chaplin Factory）電影音樂會，是 2025 C-LAB 聲響藝術節的焦點節目之一。他也將舉辦大師講座，以他在電影音樂會的創作經驗為例，探討影像與音樂之間錯綜複雜的互動關係。
他將分享如何從電影的剪接、光影、角色與視覺構圖中汲取靈感，並轉化為音樂的動機與聲響結構；同時討論影像與音樂從平行、對比到分離的多種可能性，以及靜默在戲劇與敘事中的功能。
本場講座亦邀請國立臺北藝術大學電影創作學系副教授王君琦擔任與談人，從影像語言與電影美學的角度切入，與當代音樂進行跨界對話。觀眾將更深入理解「看」與「聽」如何共同構築獨特的感官體驗。

Chaplin Factory Ciné-Concert created and conducted by Martin Matalon is one of the highlights of the 2025 C-LAB Sound Festival. He will also give a masterclass based on his experience in creating music for film concerts and explore the intricate relationship and interaction between image and sound: how he draws inspiration from film editing, light and shadow, characters, and visual composition, transforming these cinematic elements into motifs and sonic structures, along with possible interplays between image and music—from parallel and contrast to complete separation—and the role of silence in drama and narration.
The masterclass also features WANG Chun-Chi, Associate Professor at the Department of Filmmaking, Taipei National University of the Arts, who will approach from the perspectives of visual language and film aesthetics in a cross-disciplinary dialogue with contemporary music, offering deeper insights into a co-construction of a unique sensory experience between seeing and listening. (Matalon will speak in French, accompanied by an interpreter for Chinese; WANG Chun-Chi will speak in Chinese.)
