Sound and Light - 리 Trio X BIO🌟
臺、韓音樂家共組的 리 Trio 為弦樂與鋼琴編制的男子即興三重奏：李英豪（小提琴）、李東熙（低音提琴）、李世揚（鋼琴）。三人皆長年活躍於自由即興與跨域舞台：李世揚為臺灣知名自由即興鋼琴家、卡到音即興樂團團長；李英豪曾接受嚴謹的古典音樂訓練，具備紮實的技巧與豐富的表現力；來自釜山的李東熙則以低音提琴貫穿爵士與東亞聲響脈絡，並在個人專輯展現實驗取向。
自 2023 年成團以來，리 Trio 以「以李為名」的韓文字形（리）延伸出「2＋1」的象徵語彙，在即興的排列、疊合與加成之間，開展多維度的聲響景觀，廣受現場樂迷好評。今年 C-LAB 聲響藝術節，他們將首度與臺灣油水投影藝術家「白油 BIO」合作，於舞台上以液態光雕與現場投影參與即興對話，構築少見而獨特的光影音樂會，讓觀者同時置身於聲音與流動畫面的即時生成之中。
리 Trio is an improvisational ensemble for strings and piano comprising three male musicians from Taiwan and Korea: LEE Ying-Hao (violin), LEE Dong-Hee (double bass), and LEE Shih-Yang (piano). All three have long been active in cross-disciplinary performance scenes rooted in free improvisation. LEE Shih-Yang is a renowned Taiwanese pianist known for his work in free improvisation and as the leader of Caught Up In, an improvising orchestra. LEE Ying-Hao, rigorously trained in classical music, demonstrates both technical mastery and expressive depth, while LEE Dong-Hee, from Busan, bridges jazz and East Asian soundscapes through the double bass, showcasing experimental approaches in his solo albums.
Formed in 2023, 리 Trio takes its name from the Korean character “리,” derived from the Chinese surname Li (李), extending it into a symbolic concept of “2＋1.” Through improvisational permutation, layering, and synergy, the trio unfolds multidimensional soundscapes that have earned high praise from live audiences. At this year’s C-LAB Sound Festival, they collaborate for the first time with Taiwanese liquid light projection artist BIO, presenting a rare and distinctive light-and-sound concert where fluid light sculptures and live projections engage in spontaneous dialogue with the trio’s improvisation—immersing the audience in a real-time fusion of sound and flowing imagery.
