Join us in the stunning Shifen area for the 3rd annual Shifen Trail, where breathtaking landscapes, scenic forests, incredible trails, and majestic waterfalls await! Choose from a variety of race distances to match your fitness level and challenge yourself on this unforgettable course.
This year, we're excited to expand the Shifen Trail into a multi-day stage race event, giving you even more ways to experience the area’s beauty. We have a 36km and a 51km multi-day options, held over both days, perfect for those seeking a more challenging experience. We’re also pleased to offer on Day 1 the 4km Mt. Wufen Hike, perfect for families and hiking enthusiasts, and the 6km Mt. Wufen Sprint challenge. These two scenic options allow participants to enjoy a two-day experience without committing to the full stage races.

退款政策 Pre-Event Refund Policy
本活動由於名額有限，我們建議您今天就報名。
報名截止時間為2025年3月27日中午12點，如提前報名額滿由賽事主辦單位決定是否加開。
活動報名需支付全額費用。參賽者繳付全部參賽費用後才獲最終名額確認。
Venture Treks關於退款的取消政策。這是必要的，因為在舉辦活動中發生的大部分費用都是提前由主辦方之支付諾的，而且只有提前很久才能退款。退款將扣除相關的行政和處理費用。賽前費用包括用品、比賽號碼、獎牌、醫療人員、服務供應商、場館費用、工作人員和許多其他項目，這些都需要到位，才能讓你享受一場安全和愉快的比賽！

This is a Pre-Entry Event. Entries are limited, so we suggest you reserve your place today.
Pre-Entries close on March 27th, 2025 at 12:00 noon, or at the Event Organizer’s discretion, when capacity has been reached.
Full payment is required on entry. An entry is only confirmed on full payment of the entry fee.
Venture Treks has a cancellation policy pertaining to refunds. This is necessary because most of the expenses incurred in staging events are committed to in advance, and as such refunds are only possible well in advance. Refunds will be subject to a nominal administration and handling fee. Pre-event costs include supplies, race numbers, medals, medics, service providers, venue fees, staff and many other items that need to be in place for you to enjoy a safe and enjoyable event. Thank you!
60% of the entry fee paid will be refunded if an entry is canceled in writing on or before midnight on April 10th, 2025.
No refunds will be paid after April 10th, 2024.
Refunds can only be made by contacting info@venturetreks.asia
NOTE: All refund payments are made within 30 days after the event date.
賽事取消或延期政策 Race Cancellation or Postponement Policy
我們的目標始終是提供一個愉快與安全的比賽體驗。但是為了您的健康和安全，有時不尋常的情況(天氣和其他外力因素)可能讓我們被迫取消比賽。我們從來不想取消比賽，所以只有在安全風險很大的情況下才會取消。
因下列原因賽事主辦方保留取消、修改或取消越野賽的權利:
- 自然災害(或台灣中央氣象局發布的警告)。在這種情況下，不能更改賽道以繼續比賽，也不能推遲比賽日期。
- 由於發生地震、颶風/颱風、洪水、山體滑坡、事故、流行病，而無法確保跑步者的安全。賽事主辦方保留對賽事縮短或取消的最終決定權。
- 比賽是否取消的決定將在比賽前一天或比賽當天作出。這將通過官方比賽網站和官方社交媒體進行溝通。
在這種情況下，將不退還比賽報名費。每位參加者必須接受任何已繳付報名費的風險。收取的參賽費用將用於賽事的發展和相關前製作業，包括賽道準備、比賽用品、許可證和管理。我們將盡一切努力為所有參與者提供一個公平和安全的活動。我們做出的任何影響比賽日期或可能取消的決定都是經過仔細考慮的，並基於整個賽事的安全性、可持續性和可管理性。

Our goal is always to provide an enjoyable, safe race experience. However, sometimes unusual conditions (weather and other) may require that, for your health and safety, we cancel a race. We never want to cancel a race and will do so only if the safety risk is great.
The race organizer reserves the right to cancel, modify or call-off the trail race for the following reasons:
- Natural disasters (or declared warnings issued by the Taiwan Central Weather Bureau. In such a case, the race course cannot be changed to continue the race, nor will the race be postponed to a later date.
- The inability to ensure runners safety due to in the event of an earthquake, hurricane/typhoon, flood, landslides, incidents, accidents, epidemics and/or pandemics. The race organizer reserves the right to make judgments and decisions regarding the shortening/canceling of the race.
- The decision as to whether or not the race will be canceled will be made on the day before the race or on the day of the race. This will be communicated via the official race website and official social media.
In such cases there will be no refunds of race entry fees. Each participant must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid. There is no complimentary race entry to a future race. Entry fees collected are used to develop and produce the event, starting well in advance of the race date – including course preparation, race supplies, permits and administration. We will make every effort to produce a fair and safe event for all participants. Any decision we make that impacts the race date or potential cancellation is carefully considered and based on the overall event safety, sustainability and manageability.
In the event of the race being canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, we will attempt to reschedule to a later date in the same year and all entries will transfer to that rescheduled date. If this proves impossible the cancellation policy will apply.

活動保險和參與者個人保險 Event Insurance and Participant Personal Insurance
作為主辦方，我們已經為活動購買了公共責任保險，但此保險僅對因主辦方的行動或決策導致的事故或傷害引起的索賠提供有限保障。
我們建議您在參加此活動之前購買個人意外保險或國內旅行保險，以涵蓋在活動期間可能因個人受傷而產生的任何個人意外費用，包括救護費、醫療費用或收入損失。
國際參與者應在抵達台灣之前購買此越野跑活動的旅行保險。
所有參與者都有責任確保他們理解自己的保險政策以及對於每種個人事件或傷害可以提出的索賠。

We as organizers have taken out Public Liability Insurance for the Event that has limited cover for claims based on accidents or injury caused by the actions or decisions of the organizer.
We do recommend that you arrange your own personal accidental insurance or domestic travel insurance before participating in this event to cover any personal accidental expenses that may arise due to personal injuries during the event, including ambulance fees, medical expenses, or lost of income.
International participants should purchase travel insurance for the this trail running event before arriving to Taiwan.
All participants are responsible to make sure they understand their insurance policies and the claims they are allowed to file for each type of personal incident or injury.
I agree that if I am injured or require medical assistance, the Event Organiser may, at my cost, arrange medical treatment and emergency evacuation as deemed necessary by the Event Organiser. Venture Treks does not have personal accident insurance for participants.
We recommend that you arrange your own personal accident insurance, ambulance cover and income protection insurance before participating in the Event to cover any unforeseen personal costs you may incur due to ambulance trips, medical expenses, or time off work due to injuries sustained whilst participating in the Event.
I agree that I am responsible for my own medical and ambulance insurance cover.

在整個活動中，會拍攝照片和影片，並可能被用於VENTURE TREKS社群媒體和網站，作為分享內容和或宣傳VENTURE TREKS業務。
我同意VENTURE TREKS可以使用我的照片/視頻，以及在他們的社群媒體渠道和網站上使用我的名字、圖像、肖像和故事作為分享內容和或推廣他們的業務。
Throughout the event, photos and video footage are taken and may be used on the VENTURE TREKS social media channels and website as a way of sharing the content, and or to promote the VENTURE TREKS business.
I consent that VENTURE TREKS can use the photos/video footage taken of myself and in using my name, image, likeness and also my performance on their social media channels and website as a way of sharing content and or to promote their business.
ACCUPASS
在ACCUPASS 完成付款後，系統將發送報名完成確認信到你Email.
我們僅使用ACCUPASS 做為報名，活動當日不需要提供給我們報名紙本或QR 碼給我們！
這個功能是ACCUPASS 他們報名系統自動產生的！不做為我們活動入場的要求。
Once successful payment is received on Accupass, a confirmation email is generated and emailed to the registered participant.
We use Accupass for registrations only, we don't require any participant to show us any paper tickets, e-tickets or QR tickets to gain access on the event day.
These functions are built-in automatically into the registration system, and isn't a requirement to attend our events.
Build-a-Burger之夜 / Build-a-Burger Night
如果您計劃在十分月桃寮露營區露營，歡迎於4月26日加入我們的Build-a-Burger之夜！我們將為您烤製漢堡肉餅，您可以自由選擇各式配料和配菜，打造屬於自己的漢堡。
For those camping at the Shifen Waterfall Yuetaoliao Camping Area, join us on April 26th for a fun Build-a-Burger Night! We’ll grill the patties, and you’ll get to customize your burgers with a variety of toppings and garnishes we’ll have ready.
包括內容：
- 2塊豬肉、牛肉或素食漢堡肉餅
- 1份新鮮綠色沙拉
- 2杯軟性飲料或啤酒
What’s included:

交通和停車選擇 Transportation and Parking Options
停車 Parking
- 只有預定在十分月桃寮露營區露營的參賽者可以使用專用停車位。
- 露營區外部有有限的停車空間，參賽者若選擇將車輛停放在露營區外，需支付NT100元/天的停車費，適用於4月26日或4月27日。
- 我們建議所有參賽者利用提供的公共或私人交通工具前來參賽。
- 重要提示：所有參加10公里越野賽的選手，若選擇自駕或搭乘公共交通前往十分賽事場地。
- 從十分火車站搭乘火車前往猴洞火車站（單程NT15元），然後從猴洞火車站轉乘前往猴洞起跑點。票價可能會有所變動，請務必查看台灣鐵路管理局的最新票價，網址：https://tip.railway.gov.tw/
- Dedicated campsite parking is only available for participants that are camping over.
- Limited parking is available outside the campsite. A parking fee of NT100 per day will be charged for participants that park their vehicles outside the campsite on April 26th or April 27th.
- We recommend that all participants make use of the public and private transportation options on offer.
- IMPORTANT: All 10km Trail Race participants who decide to arrive either by car or public transport at the Shifen Race Venue, will need to take a train from Shifen Train Station to Houtong Train Station (NT15 one way), in order to get to their Houtong Start Location. We’re offering FREE and convenient event bus options between Taipei and the Shifen Waterfall Yuetaoliao Camping Area on both days of the event. All buses will pick up and drop off participants at CKS Memorial Hall.

EcoRangers運動 - 守護步道的自然美景！ / EcoRangers - Protecting the Natural Beauty of the Trails!
來加入我們的行動，一起努力保持我們的步道清潔。任何活動參與者都可以在活動中報名成為EcoRanger，但我們只能先到先得地容納10名EcoRangers。要報名，只需在Accupass的活動註冊過程中選擇EcoRanger選項即可。
Come join our initiative in the effort to keep our trails clean. Any event participant can sign-up to be an EcoRanger at the event, but we can only accommodate 10 EcoRangers on a first-come, first-served basis. To sign-up simply select the EcoRanger selection during the event registration process on Accupass.
那麼，計劃是什麼呢？
EcoRangers將在活動期間沿著山徑收集垃圾。收集好後可以拿給最近的水站給志工夥伴。我們會好好的處理。
活動結束後，我們將舉辦一場表揚儀式，以表彰我們的EcoRangers的奉獻精神。
我們非常感謝您的熱情，但你的安全還是首要考量。我們請求EcoRangers僅在我們活動的山徑，避免嘗試從山谷、小溪、樹木或懸崖等危險地區回收垃圾。讓我們在對環境產生積極影響的同時保持安全。
So, what's the plan?
EcoRangers will collect litter along the trail during the event. Once gathered, the trash will be properly disposed of at the nearest Aid Station or Checkpoint.
But the commitment doesn't end there! Following the event, we'll host an exclusive recognition ceremony to honor the dedication of our EcoRangers.
While we appreciate your eagerness, safety is our top priority. We kindly ask EcoRangers to stick to the designated trail and to avoid trying to retrieve litter from risky areas like canyons, creeks, trees, or cliffs. Let's all stay safe while making a positive impact on our environment.
