「開放資料視覺化工作坊」會使用開放的資料進行視覺化的練習，包含：自動抓取網站資料、整理資料、將資料視覺化。學員在工作坊結束後會有一個圖表的作品可以發表，並且可以把相關技能應用在工作上。除了學習如何操作軟體，課程另會訓練學員精煉視覺化的圖表，讓表達更有效率。

講師簡介：
李慕約是一位資料視覺化研習者， 他用程式產生資料視覺化，致力將許多社會議題用視覺化的方式，把資料整理成一目瞭然的圖。他服務的對象包含媒體、以及數據應用相關企業；曾在台灣大學新聞研究所、曬廣州（中國）、好單位（香港）、資料科學團訓班（Cft 基金會與精誠資訊）、ODW.tw（中央研究院）教課。
李慕約現為 g0v.tw 社群一員，也是 TEDx溫羅汀策展人。
對象：學生、會應用到資料視覺化的上班族，無程式編輯經驗可參加。

Suppose someone maps out all the traffic incidents in Hsinchu city. With such a map, we can easily identify the most dangerous crossroads in that city. Suppose someone constructs a historical view of prices for vegetables. Perhaps we can predict which vegetable will be sold out quickly this summer. What type of data, when sorted and displayed on a visual graph, will help folks better understand current events and future events?
This workshop will focus on refining visualization exercises through the use of open data. Some techniques that will be covered include: how to automatic crawl a website’s information, how to sort data, and how to transform data into a visual format. At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to publish charts, and may apply relevant skills in their jobs. In addition to learning how to use related software, workshop participants will be learn better methods to clearly present and simulate data.
