Rare Disease Welfare Center is operated by the Taiwan Foundation for Rare Disorders. In addition to supporting families affected by rare diseases, the center offers diverse educational experiences that help visitors understand life with disabilities and rare diseases. Through these experiences and moving personal stories, visitors, students, and professionals discover a place where science meets compassion—an uplifting environment filled with comfort, resilience, and the strength of the human spirit.
This field trip welcomes university students interested in rare diseases, community service, and caring for others. Students in medicine, public health, social work, and related fields are warmly invited. International students are especially welcome!
