論壇介紹
本論壇為臺南國際藝術雙年展建構具國際連結與跨域對話的交流平台，透過當代藝術與工藝之間的相互提問、實驗與碰撞，探索跨越媒材、文化與地域界線的多元實踐，進而開展新的創作樣貌與觀察視野。
以「異地與在地」為架構，聚焦當代工藝與族群的多元連結，邀集國際工藝與藝術專業者展開交流。論壇由裘德・范德梅爾韋、秋元雄史帶來專題演講，並延伸至纖維當代工藝、工藝循環與多元文化集結等主題，邀集武玉玲、小林萬里子、艾瑪・巴斯韋爾、郭晟邦、佐佐木類、楊明迭、拉黑子．達立夫、卓俞翔、艾婕音、瓦納帕蒂．尤努平古、夏本度．德、約書亞．沙發兒等藝術家，共同探索工藝與當代藝術在不同地域、文化與族群之間的流動與對話。
The forum aims to establish an exchange platform for the Tainan Art Biennale that fosters international connections and interdisciplinary dialogue. Through mutual questioning, experimentation, and creative encounters between contemporary art and craft, it seeks to explore diverse practices that transcend the boundaries of media, culture, and geography, opening up new creative possibilities and perspectives.
Framed by the theme “The Foreign and the Domestic,” the forum focuses on the diverse connections between contemporary craft and different communities, bringing together international practitioners and professionals in the fields of craft and art for dialogue and exchange. The forum features keynote presentations by Jude van der Merwe and Akimoto Yūji, followed by discussions exploring contemporary fiber craft, craft in circularity, and multicultural convergence. Participating artists include Aluaiy Kaumakan, Kobayashi Mariko, Emma Buswell, Marcos Kueh, Sasaki Rui, Yang Ming-dye, Rahic Talif, Todd Tok Yu-xiang, Jane Ingram Allen, Wanapati Yunupiŋu, Sharbendu De, and Joshua Sofaer, who collectively explore the circulation and dialogue of craft and contemperary art across
