The Global Health and Welfare Forum in Taiwan is an annual event that has been one of the most important public health occasions in Asia and has been held for 22 consecutive years. Since its launch in 2005, the forum has achieved consistent success thanks to all the participants and supports from around the world, including health ministers, senior health officials, globally renowned experts, researchers and NGO leaders.
The 2026 Global Health and Welfare Forum in Taiwan, themed “The Future of Global Care: Achieving Trust-Centric Digital Health,” explores how rapid advances in digital technologies and artificial intelligence are transforming the way healthcare is delivered and experienced. As digital health continues to evolve, building trust among patients, healthcare professionals, governments, and technology providers has become essential to ensuring that innovation serves people and improves health outcomes.
The Forum will focus on how trust can be placed at the heart of digital health development, while exploring the opportunities and challenges brought by emerging technologies. It aims to foster dialogue on how innovation, collaboration, and people-centered approaches can contribute to a more accessible, resilient, and sustainable future for global health and care.
