1983年，臺北市立美術館正式開館，由高而潘建築師事務所負責設計監造，成為台灣現當代藝術發展的重要地標。
而在前一年，1982年，同一時期的城市現代化進程中，景綸通商大樓完工，建築設計同樣出自高而潘建築師之手。
從北美館承載現當代藝術的保存與孕育，到景綸通商大樓承載商辦建築與都市發展的時代記憶，兩座建築共同見證了1980年代台北邁向現代城市的重要進程。
1985年，台北世界貿易中心展覽大樓啟用，開啟信義區作為國際商貿與展覽交流核心的重要階段，逐步奠定台北與世界連結的城市角色。
從1980年代的現代建築探索、1985年世貿開幕、到2004年台北101完工，確立信義區天際線的國際地位，這片城市土地見證了台北由商業都市邁向國際城市的發展軌跡。
景綸通商大樓比鄰世貿 Art Taipei 藝博會場，誠摯邀請國內外藝術圈朋友走進這棟1982年落成的高而潘建築經典。我們期待將這棟承載時代痕跡的老建築，轉化為藝術週期間的城市文化入口（urban cultural gateway），讓建築本身成為歷史脈絡、文化交流與創新價值的城市記憶平台。
景綸通商大樓不僅是一棟商業辦公空間，更是一座見證1980年代台北城市現代化的重要建築。
