Art Journal 不只是一本藝術日誌，而是一個藝術家用來觀察、研究、收集想法與發展創作的空間。
在這一週的工作坊中，我們不從模仿固定範例開始，而是從好奇心、材料與創作過程出發，探索想法如何生成，並慢慢建立屬於自己的創作方式。
透過手工書製作、拼貼、印章、繪畫，以及紙材、布料、皮革與日常物件等不同媒材的實驗，學習觀察材料的特性，回應創作過程中的意外發現，並發展自己的視覺語言。
創作不一定從一個完整的想法開始。
它可能來自一個影像、一種感覺、一份材料、一個問題，或是在製作過程中逐漸浮現的方向。
在這本屬於自己的藝術家研究本中，每一次嘗試、修改與探索，都會成為創作的一部分。
透過「做、玩、觀察與思考」，慢慢發現：
- 哪些材料吸引自己
- 哪些組合方式讓自己感到有趣
- 哪些圖像、色彩與形式逐漸成為自己的語言
最後，每個人將建立一本屬於自己的 Art Journal，也開始發展自己的創作方式與視覺語言。

五天創作內容
Day 1｜打造屬於自己的藝術家研究本
運用顏料、水彩、拼貼、舊書頁、樂譜與各種收藏紙材，製作手工研究本的內頁。透過圖樣、口袋設計與不同紙材的組合，打造一本陪伴整週創作探索的藝術家研究本。
Day 2｜皮革封面與手工裝訂
將第一天完成的頁面加入皮革封面，透過手工裝訂完成一本屬於自己的藝術家研究本。
Day 3｜利用印章創作頁面以及自己的視覺符號
運用不同年代與風格的收藏印章，以及親手製作的印章，透過印記、重複與肌理的實驗，創造各種有趣的頁面。
Day 4｜探索材料與日常物件的可能性
透過不同媒材、日常物件與創作技巧的實驗，探索材質、層次與畫面組合的可能性。學習不同的創作方法，發現材料如何帶來新的想法與方向。
Day 5｜延伸創作與自由探索
延續前一天學習的創作方法與發現，運用不同素材進行組合與延伸。透過反覆嘗試與自由探索，讓藝術家研究本逐漸成為累積想法、實驗與創作發展的空間。

- 從零開始親手製作一本手工書
- 學習手工書的基本結構與裝訂方式
- 製作屬於自己的印章與圖樣
- 嘗試拼貼、繪畫與多種媒材創作
- 探索紙材、布料、皮革與日常素材的可能性
- 練習透過材料、直覺與實驗發展創作，而不是依照固定步驟完成作品

Q：需要有繪畫基礎嗎？
不用。
這門課沒有固定範例，也沒有「畫得像不像」的標準。重點是透過觀察、材料與實驗，發展自己的創作方式。

📘 Art Journal：Beyond What You See
🌈 A week long exploration of observation, materials and creative thinking🌈
Art Journal is not about making a perfect book.
It is a way of developing a creative practice.
In this workshop, we explore how ideas begin—not through fixed steps, but through curiosity, materials, and process.
Through collage, drawing, layering, and handmade book structures, using paper, fabric, leather, and found materials, students will learn how to observe, experiment, and develop their own creative process.

Day 1｜Making the Journal
Create the pages of your handmade Art Journal through paint, watercolor, collage, collected papers, and layering.
Day 2｜Leather Cover & Bookbinding
Complete your handmade artist book with a leather cover and basic binding techniques.
Day 3｜Creating Marks & Visual Language
Experiment with a collection of stamps to make varieties of patterns and textures.
Day 4｜Material Experiments
Explore different materials, found objects, and creative techniques through hands-on experiments.
Day 5｜Creative Play
Continue techniques and develop your journal through personal exploration.

▍講師：藝術家吳函倩
▍講師介紹：
吳函倩畢業於紐約時尚設計學院 (FIT) 主修服裝與配件設計，曾於紐約生活與創作十餘年。自幼接受舞蹈訓練，如今的創作跨越繪畫、拼貼、手工書與複合媒材。她相信創作始於好奇、觀察與實驗，並希望透過教學，引導學生在探索與製作的過程中，找到屬於自己的觀看方式與創作語言。
Han Chien Wu studied Fashion and Accessories Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, where she lived and created for over a decade. Originally trained as a dancer, she now works across painting, collage, handmade books, and mixed media. She believes creativity begins with curiosity, observation, and experimentation, and encourages students to discover their own ways of seeing and creating.
