「島山」象徵望安（島）與中之条（山）兩地的相遇與交流，展覽邀請台灣及日本藝術家進駐望安花宅，透過體驗澎湖離島地方文化與生活，參與藝術家涵蓋雕塑、影像、繪畫、裝置及文化研究等不同領域，期待以多元視角回應地方經驗，彼此開啟跨作品、觀點與文化之間的對話。

▍Exhibition Statement:
Between Islands and Mountains symbolizes the encounter and exchange between Wangan Island (“island”) in Taiwan and Nakanojo (“mountain”) in Japan. The exhibition brings together artists from Taiwan and Japan for a residency in Huazhai Village on Wangan Island, where they engage with the local culture and everyday life of the Penghu islands. The participating artists, whose practices span sculpture, video, painting, installation, and cultural research, respond to the local context through diverse perspectives, fostering dialogues across artistic practices, viewpoints, and cultures.
