Iran | Resilience in Balance: Unveiling Iranian Culture

🌍 When we think of Iran, what comes to mind?

In this special event, we are honored to welcome Dr. Ghorbani, an Iranian scholar who has lived in Taiwan for nearly 30 years. Drawing from his personal experiences, he will guide youth through Iran’s historical background, current international affairs, and socio-cultural landscape. Through firsthand observations and a cross-cultural perspective, he will share insights into Iran’s role in global affairs and the importance of intercultural understanding and dialogue.

Dr. Ghorbani will be joined by his Taiwanese wife, Ms. Huang Sien, to share stories from their multicultural family life. From daily routines and family values to cultural differences and mutual adaptation, they will offer a glimpse into how intercultural couples build a shared life through understanding and respect.

In addition, the event features an introduction to traditional Iranian cuisine along with a tasting experience. Through food, we will discover the rich cultural heritage, hospitality, and unique flavors of Iran and the broader Middle East.
