最近，誠誠變得很奇怪。他不再打球，也不願靠近球場，像是有什麼藏在心裡說不出口。媽媽試著靠近，卻摸不著原因。而那份困惑與害怕，來自他最信任的大人之一。某天傍晚，他獨自站在球場邊，望著球棒，終於必須做出決定——要不要揮出自己的那一棒。
Lately, Cheng-Cheng has changed. He no longer plays baseball, nor does he want to go near the field—as if something inside him has been sealed shut. His mother tries to reach out, but can’t quite grasp the reason. The confusion and fear he carries stem from someone he once trusted deeply. One evening, Cheng-Cheng finds himself alone at the edge of the field, staring down at a baseball bat. He knows that this time, he must decide—whether to swing, or not.

冬日，爸爸帶著姐弟倆去一趟溫泉旅行，朵朵 (12歲) 因為不喜歡爸爸新買的少女泳衣所以不願意下水，沒有人懂朵朵的心情，朵朵獨自一人躲在溫泉岸邊生悶氣，看著池裡的女子們，那些都不是朵朵喜歡的樣子，但是除了躲起來和全世界生悶氣，她不知道還可以怎麼做。這時，溫泉老員工藤子 (69歲) 中性的氣質吸引了朵朵的注意，她悄悄地走近⋯⋯。
On a hot-spring-trip, 12-year-old Dodie refuses to enter the water in the girly swimsuit her father bought her. Feeling misunderstood, she hides. Then, the calm, androgynous presence of Fujiko catches her attention.
