We are delighted to invite the most promising startups and distinguished investors to join us for the Startup Networking Night, a monthly gathering held right here in Taipei. Hosted by Columbia Venture Community Taiwan, this event is designed to bring together a dynamic community of entrepreneurs and investors who are shaping the future of innovation in Taiwan and beyond.
This exclusive evening offers an unique opportunity to connect with fellow alumni, visionary founders, industry veterans and leading investors in a collaborative and inspiring environment. Whether you’re looking to showcase your venture, discover early-stage opportunities, or exchange game-changing ideas, our networking night provides the perfect platform to elevate your ambitions and build meaningful relationships.
This month's event will be held jointly with the Taiwan AI Startups Community (TASC). TASC is an IRL-first community bringing together founders, engineers, researchers, students, and operators who are actively building and using AI in Taiwan. The community exists to create a clear meeting point for Taiwan’s AI ecosystem — connecting people across disciplines and stages, and focusing on real experience over theory or hype.
From TASC, we have Tek Lim, founder & CEO of Next Integral, an AI startup developing edge-based computer vision systesm for industrial applications, who will join us to speak on the fundamentals of modern computer vision, from core concepts and deep learning techniques to real-world system deployment. He will also explain how visual data is processed, key insights from research, and the challenges of applying these methods in real environments. The session will also highlight practical applications and lessons learned from deploying computer vision systems in production. Mr. Lim holds a PhD in Physics from École Polytechnique in France and has over 15 years of experience bridging AI with real world applications.
