Looking to invite a little more love into your life? Join us for a special cultural experience where we’ll visit Taipei Xia Hai City God Temple and learn how to pray to Yue Lao (月老) — the god of love and marriage 💌
✨ Who is Yue Lao?
Yue Lao, known as the “Old Man Under the Moon,” is believed to tie destined lovers together with a red string. People pray to him for love, marriage, and relationship guidance.

🗓 Date: April 11
🕞 Time: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
📍 Location: Taipei Xia Hai City God Temple (near MRT Daqiaotou Station)
💰 Free / Donation-based
👥 Limited to 12 spots only (RSVP required)
🗣 This event will be conducted in English
🌿 What to Expect
• 3:30 PM – Meet at a café nearby
(Exact location will be shared after registration)
We’ll go through the steps of praying to Yue Lao and share cultural insights so you feel confident and prepared
• 4:00 PM – Walk to the temple together
We’ll begin the full prayer ritual (approx. 1 hour)
• You’ll take part in a traditional religious ritual, including holding incense and following specific steps for the best results
⚠️ Please note: This is a spiritual/religious practice. If you follow another religion and feel uncomfortable participating, this event may not be suitable for you.

• If you are single:
Prepare a list of 10 characteristics you want in your ideal partner (be specific 👀)
• If you are not single:
You may still join, but you can only pray for marriage

• Cash (for temple donations)
• Snacks/offerings for Yue Lao
