車門開闔之間，眾生百態相繼入座。國際名導潘納希開著計程車，穿梭德黑蘭的大街小巷，有時送傷患趕赴醫院，有時成為盜版光碟商人的「共犯」，也有時匆匆忙忙一路飆車接小姪女放學。
狹小車廂化為片場，潘納希施以匠心：借他人之口，辯論著性別、宗教與凡此種種公共議題，大時代濃縮入小空間；而模糊了虛實界線的偽紀錄片形式，讓影像既反射現實也輝映著生機，創作不停，道路前展，始是自由。
Between the opening and closing of taxi doors, a cross-section of humanity takes its seat. Internationally acclaimed director Panahi drives through the streets and alleys of Tehran—at times rushing an injured passenger to the hospital, at others becoming an unwitting “accomplice” to a vendor of pirated DVDs, and sometimes speeding across the city to pick up his young niece from school.
The cramped cabin transforms into a film set, where Panahi’s craftsmanship is on full display: through the voices of his passengers, debates unfold on gender, religion, and a range of public issues. A vast era is condensed into this confined space. Blurring the line between fiction and reality, the pseudo-documentary form allows the images to both reflect the real and pulse with vitality. As long as creation continues and the road stretches ahead, there is freedom.
▌導演介紹 About the Director
賈法潘納希，伊朗導演與演員，伊朗電影新浪潮代表人物。因其電影多為批判伊朗當代政治與社會，而被政府判處監禁及禁拍電影，但其在受限的情況下仍持續秘密創作。分別以《生命的圓圈》、《計程人生》、《只是一場意外》斬獲歐洲三大電影節最高榮譽，亦是本世紀第一位達成此成就的導演。
Jafar Panahi is an Iranian director and actor, and a leading figure of the Iranian New Wave. Known for his films that critically engage with contemporary Iranian politics and society, he has been sentenced to imprisonment and a filmmaking ban by the government. Despite these restrictions, he has continued to create films in secret.
His works The Circle, Taxi, and It Was Just an Accident have each won the top prizes at the Big Three European film festivals, making him the first director of this century to achieve this distinction.
