本場藝術座談由 Texture版畫工作室 邀請進駐藝術家 Laure Catugier 與 2026新藝獎得主劉書妤 進行對談，並由 臺南美術館館長 龔卓軍 擔任引言人。座談將聚焦 版畫、藝術家書與建築空間 的交會關係，從不同文化背景的創作實踐出發，探討藝術家如何透過圖像與印刷媒介回應城市與空間。
法國藝術家 Laure Catugier 此次受邀於 Texture版畫工作室進行駐村創作，其創作長期透過 攝影、拼貼與藝術家書（Artist Book） 探索城市與建成環境；劉書妤 則透過 版畫與空間形式，探索身體如何感知並重新理解建築與空間結構。透過兩位藝術家的作品案例，本次對談將討論 建築語言如何轉化為版畫與書籍形式，以及印刷媒介如何成為理解城市與空間的一種方法。
龔卓軍將從 藝術史與策展觀點 串聯兩位藝術家的創作脈絡，帶領觀眾思考 建築、圖像與印刷媒介在當代藝術中的關係與可能性。
This artist talk is organized by Texture Printmaking Studio, bringing together the invited resident artist Laure Catugier and 2026 Next Art Tainan Award recipient Shu-Yu Liu for a conversation, with Jow-Jiun Gong, Director of Tainan Art Museum, serving as the respondent and discussant. The talk will focus on the intersection of printmaking, artist books, and architectural space, exploring how artists from different cultural backgrounds respond to the city and the built environment through images and print-based media.
French artist Laure Catugier, currently in residence at Texture Printmaking Studio, has long explored urban and built environments through photography, collage, and artist books. Shu-Yu Liu, meanwhile, works through printmaking and spatial forms to investigate how the body perceives and reinterprets architectural structures and spatial experiences. Through examples from their works, the conversation will discuss how architectural language can be translated into printmaking and book forms, and how print-based media can become a way of understanding urban space.
Drawing from perspectives in art history and curatorial practice, Jow-Jiun Gong will connect the artistic approaches of both artists and guide the discussion toward broader reflections on the relationships between architecture, visual imagery, and print media in contemporary art.
