Following the competition, the Boom! Celebration in July 2026 at Opera Taipei will feature digital projections and curated exhibits. We invite industry-leading art directors and agents to engage directly with our Top 50 Finalists. This creates a professional yet relaxed atmosphere where talented illustrators can connect with their future brand partners.
IlloBoom! 2025 Illustration Summit Challenge Top50 Winners
▌Eligibility
The competition is open to individual creators aged 18 or above whose illustration works were first published, including online publication, between February 1, 2025 and April 1, 2026.
Works previously submitted to other international competitions are welcome.
There are no restrictions on theme, size, or medium, provided the work aligns with the artist’s creative intent. Each submitted work will be reviewed by all members of the jury and evaluated within its designated category.
* Participants must provide a public portfolio or illustration focused social media account demonstrating a consistent body of original work. The Top 50 Winners Gallery will be shared with leading international art directors, publishers, and agencies.

▌Submission Categories
- Commissioned – Illustration works created through client commissions, including editorial projects, books, advertising, picture books, image licensing, brand campaigns, and related commercial applications.
- Uncommissioned – Illustration works not created for client commissions or not used for commercial purposes, including personal projects, self initiated works, merchandise created from personal work, and experimental creations.

Event Disclaimer:
- Submitted entries must not involve plagiarism, copyright infringement, or impersonation. Any confirmed violations of the aforementioned regulations will result in disqualification without replacement. In addition to revoking awards and honors, the creator will bear full legal responsibility. This competition strictly prohibits the use of generative AI tools (e.g., MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, DALL·E, etc.) to create entries. All participants must provide documentation and evidence of their creative process to prove the originality of their work and ensure they hold the copyright to the submitted piece. If an entry is suspected of using AI at any stage of the competition, it will be immediately disqualified without further explanation. Participants who violate these rules will bear the consequences and may face legal claims if their actions damage the competition's reputation.
International judges can identify AI-generated works, and the organizers also utilize AI detection tools. If any selected work is flagged by these tools as AI-generated, the creator will be required to provide compelling evidence in their defense.
- The organizers reserve the right to reject any entries that discriminate against or infringe upon the culture or morals of different countries, as well as entries that fail to meet eligibility criteria. Participants must ensure their entries are original works. In the event of intellectual property or copyright disputes, the organizers reserve the right to disqualify the participant, who will bear full responsibility for any consequences. Participants must guarantee that the organizers will not face copyright or intellectual property disputes arising from the use of their submissions.
- The organizers retain the rights to exhibit and promote submitted works online.
- For matters not covered in this document, the organizers reserve the right to amend the terms and retain the authority to modify, change, or cancel the competition. Important announcements during the event period will be posted on the official website. For inquiries, please contact the organizers.
- By completing the registration and submission process, participants are deemed to have agreed to the above terms and to abide by all competition rules and regulations. No additional agreements or conditions will be signed by the organizers.
*Please note the following members are the international judging panel for this competition (click on the judges' photos or visit the official event website to learn more about their credentials). The "Event Guests" label below is a default name on Accupass and cannot be modified—it does not imply that all listed members will attend the "Boom! Celebration" event. On the event day, renowned industry professionals in Taiwan will be invited to interact with everyone!
