If you've been to Sanxia but never learned the history behind its iconic “Oriental art palace” — Sanxia Zushi Temple — this tour is for you!
Sanxia Old Street dates back to the mid-18th century. After being destroyed during the anti-Japanese uprising in 1895, it was rebuilt in 1916 under Japan’s urban renewal plan, creating the distinctive streetscape we see today.
