在展覽《from Mainland to Formosa,..》的第二章《From Mainland to Formosa, From Formosa Back to Mainland》中，參展藝術家將分享他們在羅東停留期間的觀察、體驗與創作發想。
小鎮獨特的建築風格、深深編織在日常生活中的宗教儀式，以及社群與自然環境之間緊密的互動方式，都在藝術家心中留下了深刻印象。
藝術家 Ariuntugs 以拓印技法在一本廢棄的舊筆記本頁面上創作平面作品——捕捉那些由人為行動與自然過程共同形成的痕跡。
藝術家 Manaljav 則透過紙本作品與一件裝置創作，回應他在駐地期間對當地自然的觀察——特別是水的特質——以及這些自然力量如何形塑羅東獨特的文化實踐。
藝術家的思考與作品將在公開對談中展開，使這段駐地經驗得以轉化為共享的敘事。
“From Mainland to Formosa, From Formosa Back to Mainland”
In the second chapter of the exhibition “From Mainland to Formosa, From Formosa Back to Mainland” the participating artists share the impressions and creative ideas they have gathered during their time in Luodong.
The town’s distinctiveness architectural character, the spiritual rituals deeply woven into daily life, and the community’s collective way of relating to their natural environment have all left strong impressions on the artists.
Artist Ariuntugs presents graphic works created using the frottage technique on pages from an old, abandoned school notebook—capturing traces shaped by both human actions and natural processes.
Artist Manaljav offers paper-based works and an installation inspired by his observations of local nature—particularly the qualities of water—and how these natural forces shape unique cultural practices in Luodong. These works will be shared and discussed during the artists’ open conversation session
