你能否想像台灣頗具規模的rap battle之一是由菲律賓移工所舉辦？
全台灣的移工人數在2025年突破了85萬人，他們不只是廠區內的勞動力、家庭中的照護者，更帶著他們多元的才能、渴望來到台灣。其中更包含與你我一樣熱愛嘻哈的饒舌歌手。
從2012年開始，菲律賓移工並在台灣成立嘻哈音樂工作室，舉辦rap battle。但這樣同於台灣這塊土地的嘻哈聲響鮮少被台灣人認識。
在本場講座中，我們希望透過：菲律賓移工如何舉辦一場rap battle？移工如何創作？又為什麼要創作？等問題切入，帶領聽眾進入這個「臺饒」異世界。

Can you imagine that one of the most significant rap battles in Taiwan is organized by Filipino migrant workers?
By 2025, the number of migrant workers in Taiwan will have exceeded 850,000. They are not merely the workforce in factories and caregivers in homes; they bring their diverse talents and aspirations to Taiwan. Among them are rappers who love hip-hop just as much as you and I do.
Starting in 2012, Filipino migrant workers established a hip-hop music studio and began hosting rap battles in Taiwan. However, this distinct hip-hop voice—which shares the same Taiwanese soil—is rarely recognized by the general Taiwanese public.
In this talk, we aim to explore questions such as: How do Filipino migrant workers organize a rap battle? How do they create their music? and Why do they create it? We hope to guide the audience into this "Taiwanese Rap" otherworld.
