謝杰樺 × 安娜琪舞蹈劇場《thewhole》
在無盡的光影流轉間，
身體成為恆星，回應宇宙的呼吸。
延續歷來對身體與科技的探索，《thewhole》是一場關於存在的身體實驗。當影像模擬星系在宇宙中流動，身體成為啟動數位的開關，每一次呼吸、延伸與回應，都牽引著宇宙的脈動。時間在黑洞的深處折返，動作化為能量的流轉，宇宙與身體互為彼此的延伸，置身其中的我們看見光、也看見自己在光中的投射。至此，人與宇宙不再分界。
安娜琪舞蹈劇場攜手C-LAB未來視覺實驗室與臺大物理系黃宇廷教授，以「宇宙的本質即數位」為出發點，透過動作感測與演算法編織新的身體語言，展開對黑洞、宇宙與身體互動的想像。這不僅是一場表演，更是一場踏入太空前的身體預演——當我們終將面對未知的宇宙，是否仍能以身體去感受、回應、尋找連結？
謝杰樺 × 安娜琪舞蹈劇場
成立於 2010 年，舞團名稱來自英文「Anarchy」的音譯。以當代舞蹈為主要創作形式，藉純舞蹈創作思考人與人的關係連結，亦結合科技創作深探人與科技的進退哲思。舞團以肢體的覺察為基礎，嘗試突破劇場形式，探索時間、空間、物體，以及人與社會之間的關係。作品形式涵蓋劇場、舞蹈科技與裝置作品，近年屢獲國際各大舞蹈節、藝術節邀演。2016年獲德國舞蹈年鑑Tanz選為年度舞團之一；2019年作品《永恆的直線》獲第十八屆台新藝術獎年度提名。

HSIEH Chieh-Hua × Anarchy Dance Theatre《thewhole》
Amid the boundless flow of light and shadow,
The body becomes a star that responds to the breath of the cosmos.
thewhole is an experiment of the body on the subject of existence, a part of an ongoing exploration of the body and technology. As stars and planets trace their course amid a simulated cosmos, the body becomes a switch that launches a digital realm, with each breath, extension, and reaction trawling the ebb and flow of the universe. The rebounding of time in the abyss of black holes, the flow of movements as energy, the mutual existence of the universe and the body as extensions of each other—as beings in the midst of this milieu, we perceive the light and our reflections in the light, as the line between us and the cosmos becomes a blur.
A collaboration between Anarchy Dance Theatre, the C-LAB Future Vision Lab, and Prof. Yu-tin Huang of the Department of Physics at National Taiwan University, thewhole is based on the premise that the essence of the universe is digital, by which motion sensing and algorithms create a new vocabulary for the body to interact with black holes and the wider cosmos. Beyond the confines of physical performance, the work is moreover a prelude to our physical journeys into space: when we inevitably confront the vast unknown that is the universe, will we still be able to use our bodies to feel, respond, and connect?
HSIEH Chieh-Hua × Anarchy Dance Theatre
Founded in 2010, Anarchy Dance Theatre is a performance company centered on modern dance. The creative process of which serves as a focal point for contemplating how we connect and relate to one another as humans. Anarchy also actively incorporates cutting edge technology in its creative productions, serving as a reflection on the potentials and limits of our use of technology. Working upon observations of the physical body in motion, the company builds its norm-breaking productions that explore time, space, objects, and the relationship between humans and their society. With its blend of dance, technology and art installation, Anarchy has in recent years been a frequent guest at international arts and dance festivals, and was named as one of 2016’s dance companies of the year by the German dance magazine Tanz. Their 2019 production The Eternal Straight Line was nominated for the 18th annual Taishin Arts Award.
