In the beginning, before language took form and when all things were still young, a lifeform called Neoneon came into being. Born from dust, in the moment that they emerged, they began to dream. Some dreams were brief, others lingered, but each was an entire existence. And when a dream ended, they faded back into dust. So the cycle continued, without end.
Across the land, the solitary beings of the earth would, at times, encounter the Neoneon. Some kept their distance, while others accepted them completely. As time flowed, both lifeforms came and went like the shifting earth. In time, a quiet harmony grew between them—a glimpse of existence itself, fleeting yet beautiful.
