導演 鄭玉鳴 Mina Yu-Ming Cheng 簡介：
正式學習電影之前在國中從事教職，自學並拍攝社區營造及環境題材紀錄片。
2006～2009年赴美學習電影製作，
畢業於紐約電影學院電影製作學程 (Filmmaking Program, New York Film Academy)，
返台後從事劇情短片及宣傳影片之編導工作，同時兼職於台北金馬影展執行委員會。
Yu-Ming Cheng, working as an indie filmmaker,
keeps making short films after graduating from New York Film Academy.
Her 9-year counseling experience in high schools
and being instinctive and fond of telling stories through images have cultivated her perspective in her film works.
She has been one of the contracted staff members in the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival.

《別拿走我的繩子》創作理念：
貧窮就如同戰爭一樣，無論在任何地方或任何時代都無法永遠消弭。
本片以「貧窮」為 起點，不談它的社會或經濟意涵，只談人心中的「貧窮感」。
到底要賺多少錢才算足夠呢? 要擁有多少東西才能有安全感?
本片藉由父女的對話提出一個觀點:
人若能認清自己的身分，扮演好自己的角色，並用真心付出愛，生命的滿足感在我們身邊即可尋得。
