<設計x城市 Design for City>
In today's world, people are constantly bombarded with an overwhelming amount of visual messages, both online and offline. As designers, we believe it is our responsibility to reduce this visual clutter by creating clear, harmonious designs and systematic solutions. Our expertise in large-scale projects, such as creating graphic identities for cities, allows us to help cities organize their visual materials and enhance urban spaces with functional signage and wayfinding systems.
<設計x社會 Design for Society >
On my speech I’ll focus on three project that we have realized in last 5 or 6 years in Poland. Two of them where prepared for the City Of Gdańsk: Gdańsk Clean City dedicated to organization responsible for effective waste management in the city. Gdańsk, the City of Equality – social campaign dedicated to equal rights based on tolerance, diversity, acceptance, respect for each other. The last project is a non profit activities of our studio connected with supporting of Polish social foundations that we have choose for that kind of cooperation, like UNICEF Poland, KRWINKA Foundation or Empowering Children Foundation.
Design for Public Service >
Wayfinding system as an element creating the space, but above all as an element informing the users how to navigate themselves in the space. With a well designed system, the space becomes user-friendly and comfortable.
What doer it mean that a system is well designed? When can we say that the system is poorly designed? What influences the legibility of the information we see in the spaces? What elements doer the wayfinding system consist of? I will answer these questions in the lecture.
<設計x公共空間 Design for Public Space>
How Gdynia Design Days is shaping public space? How the festival is present in the city? How to design for citizens, leading the dialogue and building solutions with them? How to create design good for people and the city?
Gdynia Design Days is a municipal festival, organized by Gdynia Design Centre. The city of Gdynia is a point of reference. By acting on local ground, we can gradually make global changes. That is why we get involved in Gdynia projects, support Tri-City designers and cooperate with local institutions.
<設計x字體 Design for Typography >
Polish design is known primarily for the Polish poster school. Of course, it is important, but I wanted to show the history of Polish typography during the lecture, which we discovered for over a year during research on the index of Polish typography. It is interesting how geopolitical changes, artistic trends and multicultural communities influenced the development of this field in Poland. The lecture will also be my own opinion that in order to develop, you need to know your roots and the history of the discipline.
<設計x教育 Design for Education>
The aim of my work within the education sector is to communicate in a way that is both effective and fun. I will explain how I bring together my passion for storytelling and an eye for character, emotion and detail to create immersive worlds that children and young people can explore without feeling patronised or overwhelmed. Each assignment is a balancing act, a puzzle, an exercise in organising often serious, detailed information in a way that is exciting to discover and explore.
Design for Cultural Institutions and Social Organizations >
We sell pills to pop, tiks to tok, and endless scrolling, but design for cultural institutions and social organizations should aim for more. Instead of quick distractions, we need to slow down and create lasting value. The goal is to build spaces that foster real human connection and reflect deeper societal needs. It’s about designing places that inspire, not just serve a purpose, where people can come together, engage, and grow, rather than just consume what's trendy and temporary.We sell pills to pop, tiks to tok, and endless scrolling, but design for cultural institutions and social organizations should aim for more. Design for Future> Engaging AI in Design Education
I'll be discussing our approach and some of our key projects at panGenerator. We focus on exploring new ways of creative expression and interaction with audiences. Our work stands out by merging the ephemeral digital realm with the physical world, resulting in experiences that are dynamic, tangible, and engaging, unlike the static, unapproachable conventions of conventional modern art. We believe that art needs a well designed user-friendly interface.
