TAIPEI CYCLE returns for 2024, showcasing the very best of the international cycling industry from 06-09 March.
Famous for its bicycle design and production, Taiwan boasts a rich and diverse terrain that makes it a paradise for cycling. With a variety of routes surrounding the venue of TAIPEI CYCLE, this year, we would like to invite you to join 'Taipei Cycle Ride Together 2024,' which offers two routes to choose from: a relaxed half-day bike trip along the riverside bikeway or a challenging ride combining hill climbing and seaside views in a single day.

07:00 Meet at Entrance I at TaiNEX 1 to check-in. Bicycle and equipment check.

10:30 End of the ride, return to the venue by shuttle service.

Challenge Ride on MAR 9, 2024

【How to participate】
1. Registration and Payment:
Ensure completion of registration and payment before February 17, 2024.
2. Payment Options:
Choose from three payment options based on your participation method:
- Option A: Participate and bring your own bike.
- Option B: Participate and rent a manual cross bike.
- Option C: Participate and rent an E-bike.
3. Registration Fee Inclusions:
The registration fee covers:
- Support from accompanying staff.
- Support vehicles.
- Riding supplies and meals.
- Insurance.
- Bicycle rental (options available for manual bikes or E-bikes).
4. About Rental Bikes:

Option B provides a manual cross bike with the same level of specification.

Option C offers an E-bike with the same level of specification.
【Precautions】
(Please read the following before registering)
- Participants must wear safety helmets throughout the event and cooperate with staff.
- The bicycle route is shared with public vehicles and is not exclusive to cyclists. Please adhere to Taiwan's traffic regulations.
- The event provides only basic insurance; participants are advised to purchase additional coverage based on personal needs.
- The cycling route on March 9 may involve an elevation gain exceeding 1,000 meters. Please ensure that your physical condition is suitable for cycling before registering. If you feel unwell during the event, promptly inform the staff.
- We reserve the right to make route alterations on the event day.
【Cancellation Charges & Rules】
Participants can cancel up to 8 days before the event day (March 8, 2024). A refund will be issued, but ACCUPASS, the ticketing system, will apply a 10% cancellation fee.
Please be aware that participants will not receive a refund if the cancellation is made within 8 days of the event day.
【FAQs】
1. Who can join this event?
Participants must receive an invitation from Taipei Cycle. This event is not open to the general public, and participants can only purchase tickets after system verification.
2. How can I join this event?
Please register through the ACCUPASS ticket system and complete the payment after system verification.
3. What will the route be like?
The Easy Ride will follow the Keelung River and mostly utilize a bicycle-only lane. The Challenge ride will be shared with public vehicles, including some climbing sections with an elevation gain of 1,000 meters or more, which can be physically taxing in parts.
t is recommended that participants are comfortable riding under these conditions. We will arrange cycling guides and support vehicles to provide necessary services during cycling.
4. How about the bikes?
Participants can bring their own bikes by choosing Option A. Those looking to rent can choose either Option B or C, according to their personal preferences. Regardless of choosing Option A/B/C, participants must wear safety helmets throughout the process, cooperate with staff, and abide by Taiwan's traffic regulations. Participants choosing Option A need to bring their own helmet, while Options B/C will provide helmets with the bike rental.
It's also possible to use your own pedals or saddle on your rented bike. Please inform us during registration and bring them to the meeting points; we will help you set up before the riding commences.
