The Intersection of Design Thinking and AI Generation
▍Introduction
The session will explore how design thinking and AI technology can innovate results. How can generative AI enhance design efficiency and creativity? When design and tech are integrated substantially, how can generative AI be used in design in the future?
This session will be moderated by Compal Electronics Chief Design Officer and Senior Vice President Shikuan Chen. Presenters include CUHK Dean of Social Science and Choh-Ming Li Prof. of Psychology Chi Yue Chiu, Artificial Intelligence Foundation Chief Technology Officer Jock Chang, and Group.G director Hans Lin. Their experiences can inspire participants to explore design thinking and generative AI technology from multiple perspectives.
The session will be divided into three parts. In “Thinking in opposites: Creative mindset for innovations”, Chiu will talk about how contradictory vehicles respond to conditions and perspectives, and how two creative mindsets can be applied to design and creative works. In “Designer survival skills in AI era”, Chang will introduce AI knowledge and generative AI from a technology perspective. He will also elaborate on how generative AI can improve design efficiency and creativity, and how AI can work with design. In “AIGC workflow practices”, Lin will talk about practical experiences, how to identify issues via surveys and audience analysis, and how to ensure creative works can stay with clear messages. He will also explain how to use AIGC tools, such as ChatGPT and Midjourney, to develop creative ideas for impactful expressions.

▍論壇簡介
如何結合設計思考與AI技術，實現更具創新力設計成果？掌握如何運用AI生成技術提升設計效率和創意力，拓展對設計與技術融合的理解，展望AI生成在設計領域的未來發展。
此場論壇由仁寶電腦工業股份有限公司集團創意中心設計長/資深副總經理陳禧冠主持，邀請香港中文大學社會科學院院長趙志裕、人工智慧科技基金會技術發展中心技術長張嘉哲、Group.G 導演林思翰，三位重量級講師分享他們的經驗，啟發觀眾從各個角度思考探索設計思維與AI生成技術。
論壇將分為三個主題進行，主題一-【通變與破格：「亦正亦負」的創新心法】 由香港中文大學社會科學院院長暨卓敏心理學講座教授趙志裕分享矛盾載體因應處境或觀點轉化，因而發生通變「時正時負」與破格「正負得正」這兩種創新心法在設計和和創作上的應用。主題二-【人工智慧浪潮下的設計師生存攻略】由人工智慧科技基金會技術發展中心技術長張嘉哲從技術角度切入，介紹當前人工智慧的相關知識，帶您了解當紅的生成式AI原理，並探討如何結合設計思考，運用AI生成技術提升設計效率和創意力，闡述人工智慧與設計的關係，提出人工智慧設計的相關見解。主題三-【AIGC工作流實戰與心法講座】由Group.G導演/ Midjourney AI 台灣社群創辦人林思翰從實戰經驗切入，分享如何透過市場調查和受眾分析精確定位問題，引導你釐清訊息或敘事的核心，確保創意工作有明確的方向，並使用 ChatGPT、Midjourney 等AIGC工具來協助你發展創意，打破傳統框架，找出最具衝擊力的傳達方式。將你的創意實現成引人注目的視覺作品，一起邁向全新世代！
