Sante Ventures 為全美前三大著名的醫材VC，總投資了85家新創公司，目前已有12 家投資案成功退場，例如 Boston Scientific 旗下的 Farapulse、Claret Medical、Millipede Mediva，Becton Dickinson 旗下的 TVA，Medical MTEM旗下的Molecular Templates，Celgene旗下的AbVitro和BM Corp旗下的 Explorys等。
McWilliams 在成為 Sante Ventures的合夥人前，也是連續創業家，具備將醫材產品從早期開發領導到全球60多國銷售的經驗，最終其創辦的外科手術醫材公司 Appollo Endosurgery以總價 6.15億美金獲 Boston Scientific 併購，此次McWilliams 將分享其創業實務以及國際投資經驗!

臺灣首家國際級創新醫療大學加速器，專注於「數位醫療」、「人工智慧」、與「醫療器材」三大主題，整合臺北醫學大學完善的醫療臨床體系資源，協助新創臨床試驗規劃並建立醫療通路、商業模式、創業資金募集、新創社群與國際資源的鏈結、輔導團隊降低產品開發風險，並善用北醫完善的醫療臨床場域與專業醫師，導入北醫大數據處，包含臨床資料庫、健保資料庫、臨床數據中心等，提供優質的數據服務，以及北醫大人體研究處，輔導新創團隊產品臨床試驗的研發策略，使新創團隊加速研究成果商品化並鏈結國際生態圈。
Taiwan's first international innovative medical university accelerator, with a well-established medical market, clinical resources, biomedical and artificial intelligence talents. TMU focus on three themes of "digital medicine", "artificial intelligence" and "medical equipment", assisting startups in fundraising, linking new communities with international resources, reducing product development risks, establishing medical pathways with clinical trials.
