Double Bass｜Brian Alexander (張搏恩)
Brian Alexander (張搏恩) is an American jazz bassist/vocalist/music producer, residing permanently in Taipei, Taiwan.
Brian began his musical training on trumpet, before switching to upright bass and studying jazz bass at the University of South Florida, with Mark Neuenshwander, Clifford Dee Moses, TJ Glowacki, and Chuck Owen.
Utilizing his Chinese speaking (and singing) ability, outgoing personality, love of jazz, and over 30 years of musical studies, Brian is committed to offering high quality jazz performances in Taiwan and beyond.
Brian currently performs as a freelance bassist and vocalist, leading his own Jazz combo, The Jazz Element 爵士元素. His previous jazz ensembles include - Hellzapoppin Jump Swing band and Jump Somethin’ (Performed at the Taizhong Jazz Festival), Jazz Love, and The Admirals.
美國爵士貝斯手/歌手/音樂製作人，目前住在台灣。Brian一開始是學習小號，然後轉向upright bass，並在南佛羅里達大學學習爵士樂，師從 Mark Neuenschwander、Clifford Dee Moses 和 Chuck Owen。Brian對爵士樂的熱愛，有超過 30 年的音樂研究經驗，目前致力於在台灣提供更高品質的爵士樂表演，Brian 目前是一名自由貝斯手&歌手，領導著他自己的爵士組合 The Jazz Element 爵士元素。
Guitar｜Andy Ferris
Originally from Vancouver, Canada, guitarist Andy Ferris has been playing and performing for over 25 years. He has shared the stage with jazz artists Kenny Werner and Kurt Elling, and studied jazz performance and composition with Canadian jazz artists Brad Turner and Bill Coon. More recently he studied an MA in Jazz Performance at the University of North Texas. He is currently active as a performing musician leading and playing in several projects in the Taipei area."
來自加拿大溫哥華，擁有25年的演奏經歷，曾與多位知名爵士指標性人物演出，
包含Kenny Werner, Dee Daniels, Kurt Elling皆同台演出。
於北德大取得音樂碩士期間，師事加拿大指標性爵士音樂家Brad Turner和 Bill Coon
持續的精進其爵士即興演出及作曲，目前Andy活躍的出現於國際爵士音樂現場。
Drum Set｜林俊宏 Jeffrey Lin
自16歲開始學習爵士鼓, 就讀研究所期間喜歡上爵士樂, 進而開始進修及從事個人演出, 於2009年進入陸軍樂隊服役, 退伍後開始出沒於台北的各大Jazz Live House如Blue Note, 雅痞書店, Sappho, 露西亞, 享象等展演場所, 爵士演奏風格深受Philly Joe Jones, Elvin Jones, Roy Haynes等影響, 演奏技巧曾與Quincy Davis學習, 於 2016 年與「李芳旭三重奏」在台中爵士音樂節新秀大賽獲得第三名, 目前固定於台北Blue Note演出. 也會有不定期的大型爵士演出如台北爵士音樂節及台中爵士音樂節等.
