在深處，潛藏著一股可怕且強烈的脈動，一種揉雜著純粹科技與不安的共生關係即將從裂隙中爆發。透過挖掘衝動的源頭，我們將能夠深入這種關係當中，與之抗衡，擴張自身，同時延伸和擴大這個概念孵化的巢穴。
生活周遭經常有許多（非）存有物出現，而它們所處的領域一般而言較難界定。「如其在上，如其在下」，藝術家認為能夠透過媒材實驗來喚起這些（非）存有物的傾向。他們組成「mg」這個藝術團體來進行一系列即興方法論的實驗，包括聲音、動作和文本實踐。「減弱實驗」嘗試展示這些宇宙象徵物的強度，暫時讓它們變得容易理解，並繼而找到瞬間的物質性。這次實驗試圖將人類所處世界的未知一面，以擬人化與減弱的方式，展示在觀眾面前。
Mg是由一群共同愛好的藝術家所組成，他們同樣關注世界觀的建構、另類宇宙論和實驗性民間工藝所蘊含的藝術潛力，以上都是奇幻小說的元素。Meat glitch（錢德勒．亞伯拉罕斯）、gyrating（塞繆爾．畢爾比）和grind（瓦倫蒂娜．薩托里），現居未經殖民及割讓的Whadjuk Noongar Boodja（西澳洲原住民地區）。三位藝術家的創作和理論都聚焦在人類的感知及科技資本（一套認識論與物質的控制系統）的美學面向，以及那些通向解放的實踐。
Inwardly, there is a gristly pulsation; a symbiosis of pure technic, jitters, bursting from the seams. By excavating this pulsation, we can descend into this relation, grapple with it, and propel ourselves outwardly, stretching and amplifying this brooding cave.
There are a number of (non)entities who appear from time to time, and it has always been unclear as to their domains. As above, so below - their dispositions conjured by experiments in the material. The artists perform a series of improvised methodologies in the name of “mg”; constituted by experiments in sound, movement, and textual practice. Diminution seeks to diagram the intensities of these cosmic figures, allowing their incomprehensibility to rest momentarily, to find momentary materiality. These experiments constitute an attempt to draw the outside in: anthropomorphized and diminished.
Mg is a collective driven by our shared interest and commitment to the artistic potential of worldbuilding, alternative cosmology and experimental lorecraft- all aspects of what is known by some as ‘speculative fiction’. Meat glitch (Chandler Abrahams), gyrating (Samuel Beilby) and grind (Valentina Sartori), reside on unceded Whadjuk Noongar Boodja. Their artistic and theoretical interests concern sentience and the aesthetic conditions of technocapital, systems of control – both epistemic and material – and practices that chart lines of flight toward emancipation.
