這是一種結合了環保理念的珠寶，選擇對環境傷害最小的材料來製作而成。而海灘上一片片不起眼的海玻璃，正是理想的材料。
What is “Sustainable Jewellery”？
Sustainable jewellery is jewellery that is produced without negatively impacting either people or the planet. This means it uses materials are that are sustainable, either being recycled or produced ethically — i.e fair trade, conflict-free, free from child labour. Sea glass is a sort of ideal material for sustainable Jewellery.
金繼又是什麼呢？
「金繼」是起源自日本的一種工藝，常常用在杯、碗、盤等等陶瓷器皿上，讓破碎的物件黏補起來，就像是一種「重修舊好」的藝術。
What is Kintsugi?
It is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum.
這次的工作坊，就是要和大家分享結合永續珠寶的概念，運用簡易的金繼工法，將海玻璃黏接成為獨一無二的美麗飾品。不需要精巧細膩的手藝，也不用任何的金工基礎，只需要一顆喜愛美麗事物的心，一起運用手上的海玻璃，用金繼的黏補技藝，和我們生活的環境重修舊好，讓美麗的海玻璃飾品不只是點綴身體，同時也點綴心靈。
In this workshop, we will introduce the conception of "Sustainable Jewellery". By applying simple Kintsugi technique to sea glass, we are not only to create unique accessories but also patch things up with the environment we are living in.
