球賽現場分為兩大區域：賽事區🏃♀️與美食文化區🌮
賽事區將有 34 場球賽不間斷激烈進行，美食文化區則有各種異國美食和文化表演同步舉辦！球賽看累了就換吃美食，吃飽繼續看表演！

In addition to the 34 football matches featuring 18 teams of male and female players from 12 countries, there will also be cultural performances and food stalls for you to try the best cuisine in Taiwan!
Whether you are a parent looking for an event to get your kids to have a fun weekend, an international student who’s got nowhere to go because all of your classmates are going home with their families, a victim of a horrible case of anxiety because your girlfriend put you in charge of your Double-Tenth plans, come to the World Cup Taiwan!

At the venue, you will find 2 different sections:
34 nonstop games on the football field, and international food stalls and cultural performances on the food & culture court. With the snack breaks, wonderful music and dances between the games, World Cup Taiwan is a quarantine-free leap into a multi-cultural realm.
The World Cup Taiwan started as a friendly tournament amongst Latino expats in Taiwan, who got together because of their passion for football and nostalgia for their home countries. Three years ago, the Taiwan Digital Diplomacy became the co-organizer of this event and implemented the elements of ‘public diplomacy’ into the games, making the tournament bigger and turning it into an incredible international bonding experience. Starting from 2021, the tournament changed its name to the World Cup Taiwan, allowing teams from more nationalities to participate in the event!
Thanks to the support from the Sports Administration of Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and multiple embassies and representative offices, we have been able to bring our games to the homes of 40,000+ viewers from 20+ countries. In previous years, the tournament has also been covered by multiple international media outlets, putting Taiwan on the international spotlight. As organizers of the World Cup Taiwan, we believe that this year’s tournament is not just a revival of live sport events in Taiwan, but also an opportunity to showcase Taiwan to all the globall football lovers.
