Background
Semiconductor chips made headlines as shortages of the tiny components shuttered auto plants and caused governments around the world to rethink supply chains. At the same time, the recent wave of national net-zero greenhouse gas targets is pushing the semiconductor sector to be more sustainable, as semiconductor require massive amount of energy, water and chemical to produce.
This event aims to stimulate potential collaboration in the area of “Semiconductor Sustainability” through sharing of insights and experiences from key stakeholders. We would be delighted to share with you the findings our report on “sustainability of Taiwan’s semiconductor sector and to jointly discussion how to make the semiconductor more sustainable.
