Welcome. This is one of the free series of brainstorming sessions about finding solutions for the climate impact from greenhouse gas emissions. We will have several sessions for different topics and come up with some ideas together.
10/3 - How to reduce meat consumption for GHG emissions impact.
10/7 - How to reduce the nitrous oxide emissions from fertilizer
TBD
While nitrogen fertilizers have been boosting crop productivity and improving food security worldwide, they also cause environmental challenges. As a climate pollutant, N2O, known as laughing gas or nitrous oxide, is far more efficient than CO2 in trapping heat. (almost 300 times more than CO2), the third-largest contributor to climate change after CO2 and methane.

In 1.5 hours we will
- Come up with some interesting/crazy ideas
- Experience brainstorming, and try different techniques for ideation
- Meet new friends
Things you should prepare
- Take a deep breath
- A laptop, or PC with webcam
- (optional) Any problem/topic you would like to talk about, we will start a brainstorming session for your topic.
The session will be organized on Zoom and Mural ( a free collaboration platform)
And please please
- Do not be afraid of sharing anything
- Do not judge or criticize anything, a bad idea might be the foundation of some awesome ideas.
- Be kind
- Quantity ideas > quality
- Use images if possible
