國立臺北藝術大學音樂學系長年致力於各類型藝術展演活動，近年更積極尋求科技藝術創作與跨域合作的可能性。本計畫核心概念起始於「對自我身分探索與對環境的反思及提問」。「花園」為一經過人工安排的空間，通常具有公共性及可觀賞性；而「後」為「後現代主義」中「後」的挪用，具有超越與再開展之意味。因此，本計畫以「後花園」為題，具有「超越當代人工與自然之文化對話」的企圖，整體創作運用「虛實交錯」，將音樂上的「真實器樂演出」與「電子聲響」相互轉化、融合，進行多層次的虛擬與真實之對話、互動，同時也試圖模糊、淡化虛與實的界線。如標題「後花園」（Post-Garden）所暗示的「超越」題旨，欲透過音樂與科技跨域結合，建立自身與環境生態的「對話」，並延伸出多元面向與多重層次的關係：真實與虛擬的對話、聽覺與視覺的對話，人文科藝與自然生態的對話，甚至是觀眾與藝術作品的雙向對話。

Post-Garden II : Counterpoint co-produced by the Department of Music and the Department of New Media Art at Taipei National University of the Arts, is an original transdisciplinary experimental theater combining new media art with contemporary music and taking "surpassing" as its core theme. The main concept of "Post-Garden" is an exploration of self-identity as well as a reflection or a question on the environment. Based on the new technology and original contemporary music, it presents an avant-garde performance that crosses the established boundaries, thereby starting a dialogue between self-identity and surroundings. Through crossdisciplinary collaboration, young composers, performers, and new media artists from the Department of Music and the Department of New Media Art at TNUA work together to create such an innovative and experimental "Post-Garden" applying electronics, acoustics, images, and ambisonic systems, this theater aims to create multiple dialogues between reality and virtuality, sounds and images, classicality and originality, self and environment, as well as the audience and the work.
