Instructors:
John Murn is a Consultant at Transcend Admissions. His background stems from his Journalism and English Language and Linguistics degrees into a career that has spanned book publishing, travel writing, advertising copywriting, public speaking, and resume editing. John is the founder of a career development platform aimed at internationalizing Taiwan’s workforce, lectures regularly at international MBA programs in Taiwan, previously worked at a top Thai university to attract international students, and has spoken at events in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany, Ukraine, and Israel.
Sean Gaffney is a Consultant at Transcend Admissions and holds a BA in English from the University of California, Berkeley. Sean’s background includes writing, editing, and content marketing in law, journalism, fine art, academia, and tech. He has produced essays and texts for museums, created blog and video content for international companies, edited film scripts for large- and small-scale productions, and written music and fashion editorials for print and online media. Sean has taught English and Creative Writing Skills to a wide range of students for a variety of settings -from the classroom to the boardroom- and will be sharing effective tips and strategies for Blogging and Narrative Writing.
