Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning Systems: The Apache Way
講題介紹
這個talk分上下兩部分。前面偏技術性，我會以兩個專案Apache Ozone以及Apache Submarine分享Big Data Analytics Systems以及Machine Learning Systems開發最新的現況。Ozone是個專門設計給Big data workload儲存大量資料的object store, Submarine 是個開源的機器學習平台。
後半部偏軟性，作為Apache Hadoop VP，我會分享這幾年在世界open source環境參與的心得，以及這幾年在台灣推動open source開發、建立社群的心得。
講者介紹
Wei-Chiu currently serves as the VP of Apache Hadoop. He joined Cloudera in 2015 as a software engineer, where he leads the development of Cloudera’s distributed storage system: the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).
He is an active committer and Project Management Committee member in various Apache open source projects, including Apache Hadoop, HBase and Submarine and Ozone.
Wei-Chiu received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University for his research in distributed systems and programming models.
