ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS
▧ William Wei (魏國章), CTO, Foxconn (鴻海科技集團技術長)
Technical co-founder and engineering executive with a technology focus on AI, Mobile computing, and Blockchain. William is also an engineer entrepreneur turned investor with a track record of building successful businesses in both the U.S. and China. 20 years of industry experience in the Internet and mobile computing from U.S. companies like NeXT and Apple, as well as entrepreneurship from the startup communities in the U.S. and China. Fluent in both Mandarin and English, William is known in the global tech scene and has built several successful products and businesses.
William has been deeply involved in the tech industry, from the web to mobile internet, IoT/AI and blockchain. He is currently based in Taipei and is focusing on bringing first-class innovations and products to the global marketplace.
William is also a frequent speaker at major technology forums and conferences. He is considered a thought leader in technology and is well connected in both the U.S. and Asia. Being familiar with the tech sector and political matters/regulations in Asia, William has built a great government rapport and developed successful strategies for the market across borders.
魏國章 (William Wei)，美籍華人。美國麻州大學電腦工程和北卡Kenan-Flagler商學院工商管理雙碩士學位。現任鴻海科技集團技術長，曾創立Drupe Mobile公司、創毅科技集團技術長、賽博樂投資集團技術長及合夥人。魏國章於1993年加入蘋果公司創辦人賈伯斯（Steve Jobs）成立的NeXTComputer公司，成為唯一華人核心軟體工程團隊成員，1997年隨賈伯斯進入蘋果公司前後十餘年，擁有近20年在系統軟體、移動互聯網、物聯網及區塊鏈等產業領域的工作經驗。
▧ Raymond Pao (鮑永哲), Senior VP of Business Solutions / VIVE GM of Asia, HTC (宏達電資深副總)
Raymond Pao, Senior VP of Business Solutions, is responsible for end to end solution business, overseeing VR new technology, as well as creating exceptional product and brand value on HTC VIVE. With proven experience and knowledge in consumer electronics and technology, Raymond has worked closely with Google’s Android team in 2006, led software development for the Android platform, and developed the world’s first Android Smartphone. Since 2015, he has enabled strategic partnerships for VR new technology with VR ecosystems. Raymond received two Master Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University and Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California, USA.
鮑永哲,為現任VIVE企業解決方案部門副總經理。鮑永哲擁有國立臺灣大學機械工程與美國南加州大學電機工程碩士。從2003年回臺灣加入HTC，於2006至2008年與谷歌安卓團隊合作開發全世界第一隻安卓手機，並負責HTC安卓機種系列軟體開發項目,後擔任HTC執行長特別助理，對電子產品使用者體驗與科技演變夙富經驗。2015年開始擘畫HTC在虛擬實境的產品科技藍圖和夥伴策略，推動HTC VIVE虛擬實境產品的品牌價值與市場佔有率，同時負責智慧型手機與虛擬實境產品的業務。
▧ Allen Jong (鍾逸鈞), President, GadgeTek, Acer Group (宏碁集團酷碁科技總經理)
酷碁(GadgeTek Inc.)成立於2018年，原為宏碁公司新核心事業中，專責創新週邊 產品的事業單位，由於資通產品市場變化快速，消費多元，在集團鼓勵內部創業的精神下，宏碁決定成立獨立公司，以因應新世代快速多元的產品需求。鍾逸鈞於2018年起擔任宏碁集團子公司酷碁科技總經理，主要業務包含PC/Mobile週邊、Lifestyle的創意產品以及AIoT之應用。
鍾逸鈞於2006年加入宏碁，最初在固定運算事業單位工作，負責桌上型電腦與一體成型電腦以及伺服器產品規劃。2012至2016年期間擔任宏碁中國產品規劃總經理，在2016年返回台北總部後負責筆記型產品營銷管理，並於2017年擔任創新周邊產品事業總處長。
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Taiwan, GadgeTek Inc. (GTI) is dedicated to innovative lifestyle gadgets with operations. GTI was spun-off from Acer Inc. as part of the group strategy to stay abreast of ever-changing market trends by encouraging internal corporate ventures. Allen Jong has been President of GTI since 2018. GTI is focusing on PC/mobile peripherals, innovative lifestyle products plus AIoT integrated Services.
Jong joined Acer in 2006 in the Stationary Computing Business and he was responsible for the product planning of desktop, All-in-One PC and server. From 2012 to 2016 he served as General Manager of Product Planning at Acer China. On returning to the Taipei headquarters in 2016, Jong was responsible for Notebook Business Management and later in 2017, he was appointed as General Manager of Gadget Product Business.
▧ Elisa Chiu (邱懷萱), Founder & CEO, Anchor Taiwan (Anchor Taiwan執行長) - Moderator
Elisa Chiu is an entrepreneur and investor who operates at the intersection of tech innovation, strategic investment and cross-border collaboration. She sailed from Wall Street with a decade of experience at top tier investment banks and hedge funds, overseeing US$1 billion+ assets in Pan Pacific Asia. In 2017, she founded Anchor Taiwan, an award-winning platform to provide industry access, market immersion and technology partnerships in Asia. Her clients include world-class founders and executives from Y Combinator, 500 Startups, Microsoft, Uber, Intel and many more.
In 2019, Elisa set up Anchor Venture Partners, an early stage investment platform to combine her passion for start-ups and her expertise in capital markets. She is also a highly sought-after speaker for tech conferences with recent appearances at Stanford University, Infinity Ventures Summit, APEC O2O Summit, Global Harbor Cities Forum, to name a few. Elisa was awarded 40 Under 40 as a Woman in Tech in 2018, recognized as one of the 30 Women Power by New Taipei City Government in 2019, and is one of the 10 Gen.T X Credit Suisse Social Impact Awardees in 2020.

SYNTREND Startup Foundation (Star Rocket) was founded by Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. in 2015.
