亞洲最大新創育成基地 Startup Huddle - t.Hub x Techstars

台灣發放給外國特定專業人才的就業金卡目前已突破2,000張的新里程碑，2020年台北市也躋身全球創業者網絡機構StartupBlink發布之新冠肺炎創新城市（Coronavirus Innovation Cities Rankings）全球第10名，登上亞太首位。2020年在全球疫情肆虐下，許多外國創業家來到台北發展新創事業，為何他們選擇台北？他們眼中台北的優勢在哪裡？而一個城市的新創社群發展，又該有什麼樣的策略呢？ 

本次Startup Huddle將於亞洲最大新創育成基地t.Hub舉辦，除了邀請到台北市長柯文哲蒞臨外，也邀請到國際級加速器Techstars的全球新創生態圈推手來分享新創社群發展策略，以及幾位駐台外籍創業家分享他們眼中的台北新創社群，並且在最後有外國創業家與台灣本地創業家之間的交流機會，推動台北新創社群的多元性！

Online speaker - Ian Hathaway 
Ian為Techstars全球新創生態圈發展計劃資深總監，與全球許多創業家、社群領袖和機構協作來建造更好的新創生態圈。另外，Ian也與美國新創傳奇Brad Feld共同著作“The Startup Community Way: Evolving an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem”這本書，他做的研究也被哈佛商業評論、華爾街日報等知名媒體引用。

Online speaker - Oko Davaasuren
Oko是Techstars亞太區資深總監，曾負責新加坡淡馬錫與樂天等創新計畫，也是一名非常活躍的創業家以及新創社群意見領袖。他曾共同創辦或協助許多亞洲新創公司，並擔任TUZ Ventures、中亞VC 創投基金以及 T10 Ventures的顧問。

2020 was an unforgettable year due to COVID-19. Taiwan has played an important part in various ways.

StartupBlink ranked Taipei city top 10 in their Coronavirus Innovation Cities Rankings (Rank 1 in SEA). With Taiwan being one of the safest places amidst this pandemic, many enraptures foreigners and Taiwanese alike have been finding refuge in Taipei.  To date, the Taiwanese government has approved over 2000 Gold Card Visa to foreign professionals.  What motivated their move to Taipei? How will this affect the development of Taipei's Startup Community? How should we leverage this opportunity? 

Join us (Techstars X t.hub) while we discuss how we can capitalize on having such a diverse group of talent present in Taiwan. With guests ranging from the mayor for Taipei City (Ko Wen-je) to Techstars Head of Ecosystems (Ian Hathaway). We will be hosting a series of keynote, panels, & networking opportunities around ecosystem development and what opportunities/resources the Taipei City Government is providing to entrepreneurs.

📌Speaker Intro

Ian Hathaway (online）

Ian has published for research outlets and is co-author of The Startup Community Way. His research is cited in leading press outlets, such as Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal and many others. 

Ian leads ecosystem development at Techstars, where he works with entrepreneurs, community leaders, and institutions around the world to support their path towards building better ecosystems.

Oko Davaasuren (online）

Oko is an active founder and a community builder. He has co-founded and helped run several startups in Asia. he advises TUZ Ventures, central Asia focused VC fund as well as T10 Ventures. Oko has received a bachelor's degree in Finance from Portland State University continuing onto a masters degree in Engineering Technology Management, decided to return home to Mongolia for his MBA. Oko is a senior implementation consultant at Techstars.
