2020 International Conference on Stem Cell and Gene Therapy/16th Annual Meeting of Taiwan Society for Stem Cell Research
臺灣幹細胞學會成立於2005年四月，學會宗旨為促進幹細胞研究之發展及配合政府推行相關幹細胞醫療之政策及方案，並提供國內從事幹細胞研究的研究者交流空間。
臺灣幹細胞學會每年舉辦國內或國際研討會，邀請國內外幹細胞研究學者與臨床醫師參加，交換研究經驗並增進相互學習交流合作之機會。
同時提供平台讓參與幹細胞研究的年青學子發表研究成果，經國內外學者指教以提升研究之質量，並使年青學子有機會與國內外大師進行對話。
歷年研討會成果及經驗對於促進國內幹細胞研究，以及促成產官學合作有極大助益。學會今年將首度與亞洲區細胞及基因治療學會舉辦國際研討會，並利用Webminar的方式，在疫情嚴峻此時，也能邀集國內外幹細胞研究及再生醫學學者參加，交換研究經驗並增進相互學習交流合作之機會。
預期達到：
- 幹細胞研究及細胞及基因治療發展新知交流，促進國內再生醫學研究之發展。
- 提供國內相關學會之交流聯繫平台。
- 促進(幹)細胞及基因治療醫學及生技產業研究合作交流，提升(幹)細胞研究在人類與動物醫學的臨床應用性及經濟效應。
- 培育並吸引優秀人才投入幹細胞及再生醫學研究。
The United Nations estimates that between now and 2050, the share of the population aged 60 and older will increase in every country. Regenerative medicine research to “rejuvinate” human beings in cellular and organism basis therefore becomes an important area to investigate. Taiwan Society for Stem Cell Research (TSSCR) had organized regular international conferences aiming to bridge basic/translational research to clinic over past decades. For the first time, this year TSSCR will host the annual meeting in joint with the International Society of Cell and Gene Therapy (ISCT) – Asia region, even under this terrifying pandamic era. The conference will be held physically on-site at National Yang-Ming University at Taipei and numbers of domestic stem cell reseach experts and two slots of Webminars from ISCT sponsored speakers from Japan and Korea are invited to share their exciting Scienfic progress.

Same as past years, TSSCR poster awards will be presented in 2020 annual meeting (Associate member only!). The prize of the poster awards includes
* For 1st place: one awardee will receive a Certificate and 30,000 NTD.
** For 2nd place: one awardee will receive a Certificate and 20,000 NTD.
*** For 3rd place: one awardee will receive a Certificate and 10,000 NTD.
