Rene Shen has found Airtree Inc. in 2018 and assigned as Airtree’s founder since.
Rene Shen researched the soilless cultivation in 2015 and has a breakthrough achievement in aeroponics dynamic parameters after 300 times of growing tests.
Prior to establish Airtree Inc., Rene held two patents in vertical smart farming and start to focus in the solutions for smart cities, better energy & water management, mobility, security…etc. Rene grew up in Taiwan where she spent couple years teaching in the elementary schools. Now she is trying to be a social entrepreneur not only to give a fish or teach how to fish, but also frame a revolutionized fishing industry for the vulnerable groups.

Dr. MD, MPH
A physician-turned-entrepreneur and a global citizen, Dr. Kwok is passionate about innovation that brings lasting health impact at scale. An MD from Peking University and MPH from Harvard, she brings global health and health technology perspectives from both the East and the West. She is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of PenguinSmart, enabling intelligent individualized rehab therapy for all, starting with the 1 in 6 families with developmentally delayed children.
