物聯網女力 Women in IoT 七月的論壇,本週四晚間將於台中 PwC 辦公室登場,我們隆重邀請到台灣奧迪數位事業群主管 Angela Leibinger 與我們分享近期唐鳳也一直在媒體強調的,企業升級轉型的關鍵:開放式創新 (Open Innovation)!到底什麼是開放式創新?如何在傳統企業導入開放式創新?尤其在傳統的百年汽車製造老牌 Audi,Angela 如何力排眾議、成功引進外部創新資源以及 startup ideas?

薪資平等議題座談:
一項針對MBA畢業生的研究顯示,男性畢業生的起薪平均要比女性畢業生高出7.6%。但是這份研究並不是顯示男人比女人更有能力,而是他們是否進入談判階段。調查顯示,有一半的男性畢業生在第一份工作中會談判工資,但是只有八分之一的女性畢業生會談判,而幾乎 90%的女性則完全放棄談判。
因此研究表明,女性害怕談判她們的工資。最重要的是,亞洲女性有時更受保守的家庭和社會的束縛,更擔心談判工資或要求加薪!因此,在這次論壇中,我們將討論這個議題,我們出色的女性領導人與談者將分享她們獨門的薪水談判技巧,以及為何職場多樣性能為企業帶來好處。

演講嘉賓介紹:
Angela Leibinger
Angela Leibinger 是台灣奧迪的數位事業經理,負責新數位事業群及經銷商品質管理。在2017年,她啟動了一個新創搜尋計畫以培育台灣在地的智慧移動社群。除了對地球永續發展的熱情外,她還致力於挖掘台灣的新技術和商業理念。 她於2005年開始進入汽車產業從事銷售工作。在完成國際管理學位後,她於2011年加入奧迪公司的IT部門,負責新的數位零售解決方案和大數據專案開發。 2015年,她移師到海外地區銷售部門,負責戰略項目和在亞洲地區建立新市場,之後她接管了東北非洲,近東和中東的經銷商網絡開發工作。
Arisa Kuo
Arisa Kuo 是紐約一間人工智慧新創公司的新事業開發顧問。之前,她曾是一家美國上市科技公司的資深總監,在那裡她領導資料科學產品創新,並管理著數百萬個支援世界500強公司的全球電子商務解決方案。她是戰略業務負責人,致力於開發和實施人工智慧策略,以推動產品卓越發展和業務增長。 Arisa Kuo 出生於台灣,並在紐約接受高等教育。她擁有行銷和金融雙MBA學位,並且是由麻省理工學院認證的AI策略專家。 她幾乎整個職業生涯都在紐約度過。她將分享如何成為賺取美金六位數 (約合三百萬以上) 並如何成為在科技業的國際性領導女性。
Mandy Chung
Mandy Chung 是物聯網女性組織(Women in IoT)的創辦人,在消費電子和物聯網行業擁有超過十年的專業經驗。在幫助過全球超過五百多家物聯網 startup 將其想法從概念推向市場的經驗中,Mandy 受到自身在全球新創生態圈職涯的經驗啟發,發起了一項名為“Women in IoT”的社群,旨在倡導科技女力,並鼓勵科技業及物聯網女性創業、分享靈感及經驗的社群。
Mandy 得過的榮譽包括得到美國國務院的邀請,參加其國際領導者訪客計劃(2017)訪問美國四個城市(聖地牙哥/ 丹佛/ 肯薩斯城/ 華盛頓DC)的新創資源,並曾獲得華碩年度最佳員工(2015)。

Women in IoT July Meetup: Open Innovation feat. Pay Equality Panel
Women in IoT July meetup will be held at the PwC office in Taichung on this Thursday evening (July 30th). We are honored to have Angela Leibinger, the Head of Audi's Digital Business and Network Quality of Audi Taiwan, to talk about Open Innovation, what exactly open innovation is? And how to adopt open innovation in traditional business? Especially in an over one-hundred-year-old car manufacturer, how did Angela stand against the crowd and successfully introduce external innovation resources and startup ideas?
Following up on Angela’s keynote speech and to continue Women in IoT’s 2020 main topic, we will have a pay equality panel. Arisa Kuo, an artificial intelligence expert based in US, who stuck in Taiwan, will also join the forum to share how companies/individuals can help companies recruit talents and increase diversification to stimulate corporate transformation by creating an open and equal salary environment.

Panel Discussion Scope:
A study of MBA graduates showed that men's starting salaries are on average 7.6% higher than women's. However, this is not that men are more competent than women, but whether they are bargaining. The survey showed that half of male graduates would negotiate their salary while they are hired for their first job, but only one-eighth of female graduates would do so, and nearly 90% of women gave up negotiations at all.
So the research shows women are afraid of negotiating their salary. On top of that, Asian women sometimes are more constrained by the conservative family and the society and are more concerned to negotiate the salary or ask for a raise! So for this meetup, we are going to talk about this problem and our amazing panelist will share their tips about how they tackled the problem and aced their game at the workplace.
Speaker Bio
Angela Leibinger
Angela Leibinger is the team coordinator of the Digital Business and Network Quality Department at Audi Taiwan, which is responsible for retail standards, the development of new digital solutions and mobility concepts. In 2017 she setup a startup scouting program to foster a local smart mobility community. Besides her passion for sustainability, she is focusing on identifying new technologies and business concepts in Taiwan.
She started her career in the automotive industry in 2005 in retail. After international management studies she joined the IT department of Audi AG in 2011 where she was responsible for the development of new digital retail solutions and big data projects. 2015 she moved to the sales department Region Overseas were she steered strategic projects and the setup of new markets in the Asian region before she took over the responsibility of dealer network development Northeast Africa, Near- and Middle East.
Arisa Kuo
Arisa Kuo is a Venture Development Advisor of a NY-based AI startup. Formerly, she was a Senior Director of a US public tech company where she led data science product innovation and managed multimillion global e-commerce solutions that support the fortune 500 companies. She is a strategic business leader focusing on developing and implementing artificial intelligence strategies to drive product excellence and business growth.
Arisa Kuo was born in Taiwan and pursued higher education in New York. She holds a dual-MBA degree in Marketing and Finance and is an AI business strategist certified by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
She has spent almost her entire career in New York. She will be sharing how she navigated her way up to becoming a six-figure global technology executive – a New Yorker style.
Mandy Chung
Mandy is the founder of Women in IoT, a company and community aiming to bring women in the IoT industry together. After over a decade of experience helping hundreds of IoT startups take their ideas from concept to market, Mandy was inspired by her own experience in the global startup world to start an initiative called Women in IoT in the goal to empower, inspire and connect women to speak up and make difference in the IoT and tech world.
