Matthew Mak, DTM, who has just completed his term as district director of District 67 will share his leadership journey.
When he first joined Toastmasters in November, 2015, he joined to improve his public speaking and stage performance, so that he would not be nervous speaking in front of large audiences.
Little would he know that Toastmasters would be much more than he imagined. As long as he remain motivated and passionate that he would discover the treasures that it had to offer. In the 5 years, he’s gone from a regular member, to SAA, to club president, to division director, club growth director and finally district director.
Over the 5 years of his leadership journey in Toastmasters, he’s learned that to be a leader you must have a mix of experience, passion, courage and a willingness to share. In this keynote speech, he’ll share what he’s learned on his leadership journey and how you too can lead with confidence.
