實體與數位世界的交會點，億兆物聯網裝置的關鍵骨幹，M2M（Machine to Machine）想像中的共同協議⋯⋯，IOTA與Tangle網路、如何在物聯網裝置上實作？10/26週六下午歡迎參加實作工作坊：「IOTA x ESP32 Workshop：基於IOTA CClient與ESP32的物聯網裝置開發」。
近日來，IOTA基金會與Linux基金會宣布了在「LF Edge」計劃中的合作，揭示了分散式帳本在物聯網系統中的可能角色，更進一步拓展了對於邊緣運算的想像；彷彿是呼應這項合作計畫，IOTA CClient成功在ESPRESSIF（全球第二大WiFi MCU生產廠商）旗下主力產品ESP32開發版中運作，與物聯網裝置的配合更跨前了一步。
在本次工作坊中，我們邀請到IOTA基金會成員Sam Chen，舉辦首次實作工作坊，邀請開發者們一同探索這個嶄新的領域！活動中會將會介紹IOTA的基本概念，並帶領大家設置ESP32-DevKitC V4之開發環境，實裝「硬體錢包」「自動販賣機」「飛鴿傳書」等三項基於IOTA之物聯網裝置開發專案，並與參與者進行各種專案發想討論；想接觸IOTA與物聯網裝置開發的社群朋友們可別錯過咯。
註：活動費用內含包含ESP32-DevKitC V4 開發版x1，請自行攜帶MicroUSB數據傳輸線；為維護教學品質、人數有限請見諒。

The IOTA and the Tangle network would be a protocol between the real and virtual world, a backbone of IoT network, the common protocal of M2M(Machine to Machine), how to apply it to the IoT device? Welcome to the workshop on Saturday, 10/26: “IOTA x ESP32 Workshop: IoT device development based on IOTA CClient and ESP32”.
IOTA Foundation and the Linux Foundation had announced cooperation in the “LF Edge” program recently. It reveals the possibilty of decentralized ledger technology (DLT) in the Internet of Things ecosystem. Furthermore it will materialize the edge computing; Relating these news, IOTA CClient has successfully operated on the ESP32 devkit which is shipped by the world’s second largest WiFi MCU manufacturer, Espressif. It’s a big step forward to the smart city.
We invited Sam Chen (Software engineer of the IOTA Foundation) to hold the first workshop and inviting people to explore this new field together! The event will introduce the basic concepts of IOTA, and set up the development environment of ESP32-DevKitC V4, and go through three IoT projects based on IOTA CClinet: “Hardware Wallet”, “IOTA Cashier” and “Tangle Pigeon”. In the final, we encourage participants to discuss various projects and use cases. Do not miss this workshop if you are willing to get in touch with IOTA and IoT device development!
