🗣 Mance Harmon / Hedera Hashgraph, Co-Founder & CEO

Mance 是一位經驗豐富的技術專家兼企業家,在跨國企業、政府機構和科技新創擁有超過20年的戰略領導經驗,也是 Hedera 的聯合創始人兼 CEO。

他曾擔任 Ping Identity 的架構和實驗室負責人,兩家科技新創的創辦人兼CEO,一個年收超過17億美元的組織的產品安全高級總監,美國飛彈防禦署某個超大規模軟體計畫的專案經理,美國空軍學院的網絡安全課程主任,美國空軍萊特實驗室的機器學習科學家。

Mance 擁有馬薩諸塞大學的計算機科學碩士和密西西比州立大學的計算機科學學士學位。

Mance is an experienced technology executive and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of strategic leadership experience in multi-national corporations, government agencies, and high-tech startups, and is Co-Founder and CEO of Hedera. His prior experience includes serving as the Head of Architecture and Labs at Ping Identity, Founder and CEO of two tech startups, the senior executive for product security at a $1.7B revenue organization, Program Manager for a very-large scale software program for the Missile Defense Agency, the Course Director for Cybersecurity at the US Air Force Academy, and research scientist in Machine Learning at Wright Laboratory. Mance received a MS in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts and a BS in Computer Science from Mississippi State University.

 

🗣 Po-Chun Kuo/ Byzantine Lab, Co-Founder & COO & Chief Scientist

《Next-Generation Consensus for Blockchains. How does randomness help to achieve consensus?》

郭博鈞對圖論、密碼學、計算代數和區塊鏈等領域有廣泛的興趣。他以解決了「最短向量問題」而聞名,這是後量子密碼學的核心問題,他也是有限域上最快的FFT的共同發明者。

他在區塊鏈和密碼學領域擁有8年以上的經驗,曾任 DEXON / COBINHOOD 的前任首席科學家,以及 Intel-臺大創新研究中心、中研院資訊科學研究所的前密碼學研究員。

Po-Chun is Co-Founder/ COO/ Chief Scientist in Byzantine Lab. He has a broad interest in the fields such as graph theory, cryptography, computational algebra, and blockchain. He was known for solving “shortest vector problem,” which is the central problem of post-quantum cryptography and he is also the co-inventor to the fastest FFT over finite fields. As a former Chief Scientist in DEXON/COBINHOOD and a former cryptography researcher at Intel-NTU center and IIS, Academia Sinica, he has 8+ years experience in blockchain and cryptography.

【About Tangerine Network】

共識算法是區塊鏈技術的核心,各方已研究超過40年。Byzantine Lab 提出的 Tangerine 區塊鏈,實現了公平性、快速最終性、並且是第一個提供鏈上隨機數的區塊鏈。

在公平性方面,Tangerine Network 中的節點有強烈的誘因遵循協議,Tangerine consensus 也是第一個被證明具有此屬性的區塊鏈。在快速終結性方面,Tangerine consensus 的延遲小於250毫秒,有21個節點。此外,在共識層透過密碼學技術產生公正隨機數。

Tangerine Network 是公有鏈,節點分佈在20多家公司和學術機構,實現真正的去中心化。

The consensus algorithm is the core of technology of blockchains and has been researched for 40 years. Tangerine blockchain, proposed by Byzantine Lab, achieves fairness, fast finality, and is the first blockchain provides on-chain randomness.

By fairness, the nodes in the Tangerine Network have a strong incentive to follow the protocol, and the Tangerine consensus is the first blockchain that is proven to have such property. By fast finality, the latency of the Tangerine consensus is less than 250 ms with 21 nodes. Moreover, the cryptographical-secure randomness is generated for each blockchain in consensus layer.
