8/15 Workshop I: How to Talk to VC's - Tai-Ku Chen
TK Chen has 4 years experience in software startups, another 2 years in startup accelerator program in Taiwan and China, and spent the last 3 years serve as Asia Community Partner of Quest Venture Partners, an early stage tech focus venture capitalist based in Palo Alto, CA, USA. Now he serves as an EIR at Darwin Venture, a Taiwan-based VC firm focusing on Series A tech and bio deals.
TK has his bachelor's degree in computer science from NCTU and master degree in entrepreneurship from Babson College.

8/22 Workshop II: Entering New Markets - Henry Yeh
Henry is a Taiwanese/America and started his career in Finance in New York and then transitioned to Tech in San Francisco. He was later assigned to work in Indonesia on a ERP project. He has stayed in Asia ever since.
His first foray into startup was working for EdgeMatrix in mobile internet in 2000. The company and Internet 1.0 bombed mightily. He then moved on to Seoul to work as COO/CMO for a gaming company that IPO'ed 7 years later. It is still a top 12 biggest mobile game companies in the world with offices in Tokyo, Singapore, London, Bangalore, San Francisco and Beijing that Henry started. Since that successful exit, Henry has been starting, running, investing and advising startups. He also worked in larger companies such as Electronic Arts and Globe Telecom to get ‘visibility, entry’ and to ‘rest’ between startups.
He gains positive energy from passionate startup founders/teams with products and services that can make positive changes.
