MINI Hardening in Taipei

Overview

• The competition to harden your systems.
• We (the organizer) build websites. You compete on security and business continuity of systems.
• Those websites can have some vulnerabilities and insecure operations. Also, organizer’s red team will attack your systems in competition.

Rules

• The organizer consist of teams of about 4 people.
• The organizer build websites, and you will protect them against attacks
• The organizer notice system architecture and scenario beforehand.
• The competition will take 3 hours. During that, your systems will be attacked.
• You also have to create a report about your incident response.
• After competition, the organizer will explain attacks and feedback.

Important Notice

• You need to buy HITCON CMT ticket via https://www.accupass.com/go/HITCON-CMT-2019.
• You need to use own laptop(s).
• SSH connection and Remote Desk Top are required to connect to systems.
• Please bring a power strip.
• Do not bring displays, printers, and networking equipment.
• We have no lunch service, so please bring own lunch.

Disclaimer

• The organizer share your email address to your team members.
• The organizer will take photos about competition, please note that photos taken may be publicized.
• Please do not be back out at the last minute.
