Dotting art, a.k.a pointillism, is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of colour are applied in patterns to form an image. Through the process of dotting, it is a chance of calming souls while creating your very own piece of artwork. While about the drawing surface we will be using, Kayu Raja or Raja Kayu (King of wood). It is the Supreme King in the forest among all different species of trees and therefore is commonly called King of Wood, or Saint Wood. It grows in tropical rain forest enduring the ever-changing natural environment. It constantly absorbing the power from the sun and the moon essence, after hundreds of years of tempering and raises its own unique spiritual and Emmanuel. Therefore, it is believed to have a power of protection from the evil spirits.
